"Today evening decided to take my family out for a Christmas dinner. First went to avenue center but it was full. Homed on to harbour view due to its proximity, however we were in for a big disappointment. The buffet was priced at 400/- but was extremely simple. Only three basic desserts. Dal was good, ceaser salad was yum, but the rest of the dishes fsiled to impress. Dish bowls were empty and we had to wait a long time for a refill. The kitchen had water spilled on the floor which had crept into the restaurant causing many a child to slip. The staff was slim. On enquiry we found that the reason for such a dismal performance was two ongoing parties and room service. In addition we witnessed a brawl in the lobby between the hotel staff and some youngsters. Over all a big put off....."

"Has seen better days this Fort. If the management does not "clean" up its act... it will be listed in the state heritage buildings soon as Old Fort! Medicore food and ungroomed waiters not my cup of tea......topped with air conditioning issues!"

"This is exactly like what comes to your mind when you think about "Udipi Anantha Bhavan". No magnificence or emphasis. A nice decent diner which has it's preferences on the purpose than vanity.The food is good. The menu is concise. The servers and the managers and the cashiers are all humble just like the surroundings. The setup is at par. The prices are okay. What else to say, They don't want you to say anything. The sole purpose of this place is to just serve the food and get it done with.The only issue - No cold water. Well, One can always dine in here in case they are on a run and aren't much into the ambiances and the grandeur."
