"I first experienced Alon and Tal's food at the farmers market in Nevada City and would always stop by and get a falafel pita each week. I'm glad they opened a store front to enjoy their food at! You can't go wrong with the beef/lamb Schwarma or I love their paleo bowl. All the flavors are so bright, fresh and you feel great after eating there. Definitely one of my favorite spots in all of Nevada County."

"They were able to accommodate my family of 10 with family visiting with no issues. I ordered the shrimp scampi which was forgotten until I left to take one of my kids to the bathroom. My family mentioned that staff forgotten about my dish. But brought it out instantly when mentioned. My family was nearly finished. I did enjoy all the appetizers, bruschetta and fried calamari. Staff ensure our drinks were topped off. Here's the downer. Within 1 hour of leaving the restaurant, I started feeling weird with chills. I got home 1.5 hours later and I ended up sleeping the night on benadryl and Tylenol with lots of water as I had the chills, muscle aches, vomiting, and diarrhea. 15 hours later of sleeping, headache for days and nausea with vomiting. Over all, I love the restaurant when it's a smaller party, can ensure my food and drinks appropriately. But with a large party, I was playing the risk game. And I ended paying for it. $275 for 10 people. Reasonable"

"This is a very beautifully renovated historic hotel that has preserved the historical feeling and the facility. the room was very clean and the staff was helpful. the location is ideal for access and services in the city. we enjoyed the swing chairs on our private deck. unfortunately we didn't get the king suite we had reserved, but it was still nice."

"The pancakes were almost 15$ and came without syrup! The eggs were rubbery and unseasoned and cold and the potatoes were also under seasoned and cold, and the hollandaise was almost 6$ for a tiny little to go cup and was also cold. I usally love to eat at south pine but I will NEVER door dash it again."

"18 dollars for one and a half cups of tikka Masala.... bruh, first time ordering and never again. I never leave reviews, it's for the birds. but this deserves to be known. People work to hard for this. Just tasted it, it's really really good but only 4 pieces of chicken. I'm just saying there is other places in town. Even briar patch has tikka masala for 11.99 a pound and this weighed out to 14 oz lol and there the most expensive place I know lol...."

"My mom brought us to the restaurant and it was so much fun! I loved the pumpkin Pie Bars and then found the recipe in the local newspaper for Christmas. It was always a favorite at my Tupperware parties years ago. I'm so excited to go back this next week."
