"Thanks to the Staff at this location, they are always awesome but, I have to give them a special shout out for making me 2 Pizzas 8 minutes before they were closing a couple weeks ago. Ya I know, Its not a thing I do after spending years in the service industry. I'll start by saying, I'm not proud, cause I was that guy , and even with my last minute order, they still took most excellent care of me. Thanks guys. This place is great, Prices are good, plus they accept EBT which is a game changer. Ive been paying attention to other customers checking out when Im in there picking up my pies and over 2 decades, different locations, I've ONLY seen a handful of folks shoot the pizza artists a tip! I would encourage everyone to try and give them a little something to cushion their humongous hourly wage, that is; only if you have it to give, you are taking home beautiful pizza pies and throughout your transaction you received stellar customer service. If those criteria are met, throw them a little love. I'm not saying whip it out and drop 20% on the counter, but please try and drop a buck or two. Thanks everyone."

"I am a big fan of being able to eat anywhere that you can eat near or right on the water. If you are a Fan of The Deck Restaurant which sits on the Oregon side of the Columbia then you will also be a fan of The Island Cafe. Located in the heart of the Marina means that you will be seeing boats coming going on the waterfront as you are dining. I am accustomed to being on around the water so would expect to have the smells from these boat's fuel systems floating through the air but may be something you might want to avoid if you are sensitive to smells. With that being said, the Staff was fast, friendly very efficient at their jobs. We arrived on a weekday at approximately 11:30. They were already busy and we only waited for a few minutes to get a table that was because we preferred a table right next to the water with an open view. The two of us ordered Fish Chips. They were delish and within the normal range of what you would expect to pay. I loved the unique setting of The Island Cafe and would highly recommend trying it out first hand."

"Not my best experience here. I 've been eating at this restaurant roughly every couple of months for the past year or so with my neighbor, who is a longtime customer, but today 's visit was a bit disappointing for me and very possibly the last one for my companion. This was the busiest the restaurant has been since I 've been coming but I 'm not sure if that accounts for the problems we experienced. First, we had to wait several minutes to be seated, and despite there being other tables available, the hostess/cashier showed us to a table by to the exit door, which today meant having very chilly air rush over us every few minutes. The table was clean and properly set, and our waitress appeared promptly with coffee and water and frequently enough while we were deciding what to order. I ordered the Ham Benedict with hash browns and my companion chose a Build Your Own breakfast with two eggs over medium , hash browns and turkey bacon, with a side of ranch dressing. I didn 't check the time but we finished our coffee and a refill at least 20 minutes? before we were offered an apology for the delay a problem with the Hollandaise and assurance that it would be only a few more minutes. It was more like 10 more. The orders did arrive complete, other than there being no ranch dressing, which it took two requests--to two different waitpersons--to get, halfway through my companion 's meal with a muttered apology for the problems . We were again offered more coffee, which I accepted but my companion did not, preferring more water instead, which also took two requests to get. I also added a side order of biscuits as neither of our meals came with them , which were delivered with the rest of our meal but, once we 'd finished all we could eat, our check was dropped off before being asked if we wanted anything else but we were not asked if we needed to-go containers for our leftover potatoes no or biscuit yes . Again, we had to track down another waiter than our own to request one. Finally, when paying, I provided my customer rewards information, expecting to have credits from my last visit or two, but there were none showing and which I know I hadn 't used . I won 't say I won 't be back, since this experience was an anomaly for me, but my companion, who has previously had only comparable ones, specifically said he won 't."

"I enjoyed the service it was precise and very pleasant. The food was excellent. The Macho Burrito was just that, the biggest burrito I've ever served. I tried to eat the whole thing because it tasted so good, but I couldn't. I'm definitely back."

"Such a Gem!!! My family and I love this place. Food made from scratch, amazing staff, crazy fair prices, and a free starter?!! Over a page of vegetarian/vegan options. Try the samosas. You have to try the samosas. They treat people very well and put so much love in their dishes : A definite must go, 5/5!"

"Eating is always perfectly cooked. the main reason for a lower review is that our delivery order is never correct. wrong dipping sauce aside, getting none of the ordered items at all is a very common experience here. also ordered spicy offers, but got regular. overall, I must be an average experience."
