"I have to agree with some of the reviews on here. The only reason I come back to this one is because I love the drinks, and it’s closer to home, but the service leaves a lot to be desired and some of the staff are very rude. Not all to be fair, but quite a few. Sick to death of been looked at like dirt and spoken to like rubbish. Standout moments for me is having my blue light card declined because I didn’t physically have the card although I had the app with my name and expiry date on, but she wouldn’t accept it. Fair enough I don’t particularly have an issue with that as I had forgotten my card my fault, however I was made to feel really uncomfortable, the woman’s colleague looked a bit embarrassed as well and said to me that if it was up to her she would’ve given me the discount, sorry. Haven’t got an issue with not getting the discount as I said I forgotten my card, it’s the way I was spoken to when I was refused, made to feel really embarrassed and uncomfortable. The woman had a face like thunder and it felt so strict, like being at school! The second standout moment happened on Saturday, I took my husband and toddler into the store, my toddler being a typical baby and wanting to run away and be silly wouldn’t come to me so I had to go to him, there was no one else in the queue and only a couple of people sitting down. I had just ordered my drinks and walked a few paces backwards to collect my baby, I was barked at ‘THAT WAY’. Some businesses really have gone over the top with Covid measures, youve got to have some discretion. This isn’t a dictatorship. What are you going to do after July 19th when you can’t order people around like that anymore? There was no one else in the queue does it matter if I go backwards a couple of steps? I’m a 38-year-old woman and don’t expect to be spoken to that way. The management here really need to have a good look at these reviews and have a discussion with their staff about speaking to the public so poorly. I also agree with another review about prioritising the drive-through customers, whilst having our drinks I noticed people waiting quite a long time for theirs, yet the drive-through queue was moving really quickly. I haven’t experienced any of these issues at TeesBay retail park, it’s a completely different atmosphere there."

"A lovely venue unfortunately the bar pumps were off we were served warm cans of beer and larger they had very inexperienced staff behind the bar, we paid for2 rooms but only ended up with 1 as the second room had been filled with pool tables nowhere for our guests to go for a quiet chat"
