"Would give a review, except we can hear the toilet flushing in room above(in room in The Stables), as well as footsteps above us all night. Family possibly had a child or dog, and we were permanently awake from Raised the issue with staff, but nothing could be done. Despite this, I would return. Staff were good, really friendly and accommodating, location is breathtaking, whisky bar is reasonably priced, and excellent selection…everything about this place is quality, but we will only stay in main hotel, not the stables. They need better sound insulation in the ceiling I don’t want to hear people flushing if I’m in a a night room. You wouldn’t get that in a premier inn. The bed was super hard too, which was a shame. Overall, I would still highly recommend, but the Stables rooms need a few tweaks The food was good, not great, but we were told the main restaurant was closed due to COVID issues, only to notice when we got there that it was open?! Despite all these issues, I’m still impressed by the overall feel, and would still go back."

"Came with a group so we didn't get to pick our rooms. Definitely a dated room and was a little concerned about the cleanliness. Our bathtub drain looked like it was sorely in need of a deep clean and one of the glasses had lipstick on the rim. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy, but even though we didn't turn the radiator on, water was running through it all night very loudly making it quite difficult to sleep. The staff was very nice and the food was good at both breakfast and dinner. It's also in a very good location."

"As always excellent staff. My granddaughter, daughter and myself had lunch today and the food was first class. Staff attentive but not obtrusive. I am now going to book for my belated Birthday party."

"Cam across this old style pub while in Inverness it reminded me of pubs in my youth selling a good selection of Scottish beers and best of all not rip off tourist prices the McEwan's draught sliped down a treat on a hot afternoon well...worth a visit when you are in Inverness."

"Excellent high street baker shop and cafe with capable and helpful, polite staff. Hot or cold savouries and cakes to eat in or take away. Prices are fairly average for the type of service. Asher's is an established family business and a firm favourite in Nairn. Highly recommended!"
