"The service is always fantastic as is the food which is abundant and flavourful. The bar and restaurant are lively, great for people watching. The energy of the band keeps the dance floor hopping. We miss their Ahi on tostada appetizer which is no longer on the menu. I am always amazed at how professional and energetic all the staff are at this restaurant. It is like watching a well co-ordinated dance as they race through the restaurant attending to their guests."

"We were here for a convention with lots of kids, which probably affects the experience. Rooms The good: Rooms were clean, well appointed, comfortable, everything in working order. Housekeeping did a good job. The bad: A bit of a personal pet peeve, but there are no blackout curtains on the windows. They have shutters, but those don't keep out the light. It was light enough to read a book at 6:30am, with the shutters closed. If you're an early riser, fine. If you'd prefer to sleep late in a dark room, this doesn't work so well. Food The good: I ate room service breakfast, lunch from the coffee shop, dinner from the Cava restaurant. Everything was pretty good; the dinner meals were excellent. The bad: It took a while. A long line to get even a cup of espresso at the coffee shop. The food service did not seem to be scaled for the crowd size. The menu at the restaurant is fairly limited (fortunately, everything I tried was delicious). Other: Of course it's hot in the summer. Indoors was kept very cool. But to get from the hotel to the conference center, you have to walk quite a ways outside, along a path that has no shade in the afternoon sun (at 115 F). Same thing to get to an from the parking garage. Some shade trees, or awnings would really help. My kids loved the pool, which was CROWDED. A bit hard to find a place in the shade to enjoy a drink."

"Extremely dated and the remodeling that was done was obviously not done by professionals. The floors in the hallway feel like your foot will go through them and they are not level at all. And who still has double beds in rooms? The rooms were big enough for two queens. Would never stay here again. Two positives are the staff and the pool area is nice."

"The view has a breathtaking view of the golf course and the mountains. A decent happy hour and very tasty selection. The only negative I notice every time is a smell close to the stairwell in the lobby that reaches the top of the stairs."

"Service was very slow, suppe was not hot and 3 times returned, escaped and sides were luke warm, missing root vegetables, which then hardly came warm. would never eat there again. too many good restaurants for choice. was 88th birthday party for my mother and the evening was overshadowed by all complaining"
