"Huge portions of Shisa Nyama, the traditional dish of Durban. The meat is of very good quality and well spiced. Fortunately they offer takeaway packing because you cannot waste this amount of lovely food. The atmosphere at the beach in cozy armchairs is very relaxing. Service is also nice, and well if they don't come to check on all the time, just go to the counter and they will promptly be back serving you."

"Love their prawn chow mein and cantonese steak. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ambience is lacking, seems a bit old and its always quiet, usually do take outs. The spring rolls are good portions but very very oily."

"I certainly enjoy the setting at Zack's. The view of the tour boats, whether docked or at sea is fantastic! As for the food the seafood is always fresh, leaving you wanting more and more. My wife ordered a chicken meal and she couldn't stop talking about how lovely and fresh it is. I'd go to Zack's on every visit to Durban and trust that I won't be disappointed."

"Have gone here twice now and will keep going back. The food is delicious, and they are served in decent portion sizes, especially their Burgers! Friendly staff and awesome food. Always an added bonus for me is when they have Guiness on tap"

"Fantastic Experience! We had a great time when we were here. The exhibits and interactions were both fun and highly educational. It's a hit among kids. My favourite parts of the experience were the touch tanks .The staff members were polite, extremely knowledgable, and eager to assist with any inquiries. The facility is maintained in excellent condition. This is the spot to go if you want to witness a wide variety of marine fish, including sharks. Places are available on-site for your food and beverage needs. Very highly recommended."

"I've been visiting this place a good couple of times now over the last two years and I'm yet to be disappointed. The meals are always served hot without a long wait too. On my last visit I had my usual Mutton Curry Bunny Chow and it hit the spot just right. I've had the Sugar Beans Bunny Chow as previously, and that is also a high recommendation. Service is always quick and efficient from the owner himself. A place I would highly recommend if you are on the Durban Beachfront."
