"This place really impressed me. It was one of my top favorite restaurants on the island. The service and food were excellent! I had the mahi mahi with capers and rice highly recommend! The sauces were to die for! I would?ve come here twice in one trip if I had known it was this good (we went in our last day). We will be back!"

"The Mango Sticky Rice is what dreams are made of! Yes I said it I’ve been dreaming of it since we last visited 15 years ago. And we had it tonight and it did not disappoint, dare I say it was even better than I remembered!! The rest of the meal was also delicious. The service was great even while very busy. Let’s just hope it doesn’t take me another 15 years to be able to go back… until then I’ll be dreaming …."

"We ate lunch here as our last stop before leaving Maui. What an pleasant finish! Our server, Anne, gracefully welcomed us and informed us of the ins and outs of the menu, specials, fresh caught Mahi all while pouring our water and kindly running through the intro a couple more times for some of us who were still tricking in. She really took care of us, even when there was a small mixup in a drink order she swiftly took care of it and made it more than right. The service was excellent! So was the food! We had the Kalua pork and pineapple and jalapeño pizza as well as the proletariat and then I got the keiki saimin (I ordered it for my daughter All of it was delicious. @mc_migz was on the mic literally creating tracks skillfully ranging from island reggae to Kendrick Lamar and Biggie covers! Such a chill vibe here. Highly highly recommend Monkey Pod food is 5/5, service is 5/5 and the ambience is a modern upscale place with a casual welcoming vibe 5/5. Come here before or after going to Makena State Park Beach and you 'll be happy you did!"

"We got sushi takeout from Sushi Paradise on Valentine’s Day. We called late(around 6pm) and was able to schedule a pickup at 10pm. We ordered the Sashimi platter and some Nigiri. The food was nicely packaged and the lady who waited for us at the restaurant(apparently we are the last customer they were waiting for) also did a great job explaining all the fishes in the order and how to use the sauce. Although it was a takeout order I really enjoyed the quality of the sushi and how well they packaged the food as well as how fresh the food was. Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely beautiful beer garden and restaurant. Easy to get to but difficult to find a parking space they should expand their lot. Food was delicious. We had the fish fry. The slaw was dry and bland but the fish, fries, and tartar sauce were all very tasty. Staff are super friendly and remember you. The process for ordering food and drinks makes total sense. We'll definitely be back. If you go, get the sunshine girl golden ale. It's great."

"There is a separate vegan section next to the vegetarian section. the chana masala was decently delicious (but medium was mild so that I would order next time hot.) we sat at the window at sunset, which was the best. super friendly staff also."
