"A local cafe that serves amazing Japanese inspired dishes! Lots of carbs, cute interior and amazing coffee! I absolutely loved the cream udon carbonara. It was perfectly balanced and tasted phenomenal. The curry omelette rice was creamy, light and sooo flavourful. The omelette was made perfectly! The prawn nori taco looked amazing, but it was a struggle to eat. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted great. But the slaw mix and lemon dressing made the bottom of the nori taco really soggy. We couldn’t really eat the bottom portion because of it. I love this place but it gets super busy! Highly recommend booking in advance or going in early if you want a table."

"Another cafe ticked off the listín the Frankston area. Service was friendly and relaxed but well timed. The cappuccino was strong and the food tasty. The servings for the price were large and filling."

"I visited on sat 12/08 and i been to this cafe a few times now over past couple of years and its normally when my own coffee machine is being serviced but i must say my experiences here have been on a gradual decline sadly. The menu and food on offer is a bit outdated and stale. im not a happy camper when served up cold bacon and sausages that are obviously cooked well in advance these were just hard, cold and inedible (You could snap the bacon in half it was that hard). You charge a premium so as a customer you want to be able to walk away with having a great experience all round."

"One of the last authentic and relaxing escapes in Melbourne. This wonderful, communal space has remained a cornerstone of bathing culture in Melbourne for over 25 years. This is very clean and well run traditional Japanese bath house. Strictly segregated no nonsense and the best place to take time out for yourself. Pre book ahead through the website and or Via a text message. Upon arrival, your shoes are removed, valuables stored in a safety locker, you will be presented with fresh towels and a scrubbing cloth. Once inside the bath house you will scrub yourself then enjoy hopping in and out between the bath and sauna *Remember to always rinse under the showers between hops! An hour is more than enough time between the bath and sauna. Afterwards, enjoy relaxing upstairs and book a Shiatsu massage if you wish. There are both traditional miso soup and Japanese green tea available. Hamish John Appleby"

"Called in today for lunch on a warm sunny day decided to sit outdoors off to the side of the building, great spot plenty of large umbrellas for shade, I had a steak sandwich and chips with garden salad it was superb the steak was cooked to perfection and the chips were some of the tastiest I have ever eaten. Wait staff were friendly and organised and very well presented I will be back, I would suggest though an oscillating fan be put in this area to help with air flow. Great Spot. Great food."

"Pro's: Food is insanely good, I've been a few times now and I always really enjoyed it. Food is always prepared well not only with the cooking but how they present it. Just love this place to bits! Even my mother in law likes it and she's incredibly hard to please when it comes to food!! Cons: If I had to criticise anything it would be the space, as it does feel a little crowded, but honestly, it's that popular and full all the time they really couldn't do much about it.."
