"Our family with a 10 month old and 3 year old had a great stay! The highlights were the service and amenities. Every staff member greeted us with a genuine smile and they all place their hands over their heart when saying hello which we thought was sweet. Cabana rental was a must with small kids in our opinions. Allows you to order while being at the pool vs waiting in line. All cabana servers were amazing. Christian and Manuel especially went above and beyond to provide over the top service. We enjoyed the Buffett food and the fire pits were fun at night. Beach was large and nicely kept! Bummer is you can’t really swim in the ocean because of the current. Would stay again!"

"My recent stay at Marquis All-Inclusive Resort left me with mixed feelings, prompting me to rate it a 7/10 overall. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with delightful tequila-infused raspberry smoothies, setting the tone for a promising stay. The check-in process was smooth, ensuring a hassle-free start to our vacation. However, I must mention that upon entering our suite, we were disappointed to discover that the birthday roses and cake my thoughtful husband had arranged were missing. While this initial setback dampened our spirits, the suite itself was beautifully appointed, boasting a pristine ambiance, a private pool, and a patio with breathtaking ocean views. It was a gesture that I deeply appreciated, and it added a touch of romance to our getaway. We promptly reported the missing items to the front desk, and although the cake was delivered a day late, I must admit the resort's response to the situation regarding the roses was less than satisfactory. However, I believe this was an isolated incident that should not overshadow the entirety of our experience. When it comes to service, I would rate it a 7/10. Despite our consistent tipping, it was evident that some staff members prioritized serving white guests over us, even when we arrived earlier. While they were not overtly rude, it was disheartening to feel a disparity in the level of attention and service we received. As seasoned travelers who have visited numerous resorts, we have come to appreciate and recognize exceptional service, and unfortunately, this aspect fell short of our expectations. On a brighter note, the culinary offerings at Marquis were impressive. Despite the presence of flies in the outdoor restaurant areas, the food and drinks were of good quality, leaving us satisfied with our dining experiences. The resort's picturesque surroundings, particularly the stunning views, added to the overall appeal. Additionally, the San Juan area provided us with plenty of off-site activities, ensuring that we could explore and immerse ourselves in the local culture. In conclusion, while our stay at Marquis All-Inclusive Resort had its ups and downs, I rate it a 7/10 based on the overall cleanliness, the beautiful views, and the enjoyable culinary offerings. Although the service fell short of our expectations and there were hiccups with the missing birthday surprises, I believe that with some improvements, the resort has the potential to provide an even more exceptional experience to its guests."

"All around one of the most inclusive and welcoming resorts my wife and I have been to. The staff at El Barrio were by far what made the experience that much more magical and memorable. Elizabeth, Laura, and Noel truly welcomed us into what felt like home. My wife and I could not fathom what breakfast would be like without them! To the conversations we relished in, to the accommodations they made for us during the peak of their hottest season, we cannot thank them enough. They made us feel welcome and special through our time there. My wife and I have discussed about returning as much as we can. Could not thank the staff enough for the hospitality and awestruck experience we had. This place is phenomenal."

"Wife and I stayed here for our 10-year anniversary. The hotel and resort itself is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, never felt pushy or insincere. The whole experience is what you'd expect from a luxury hotel and resort. Thank you!
