"We arrived at Juayua and headed straight to Casa Mazeta. We received a warm welcome from Steve (one of the owners) who showed us to the remaining dorm beds. It was comfortable and very clean. Steve explained the various tours you could do and pointed out where everything was; ATM’s, supermarkets, coffee shops, bars and pupulserias. The best being Esmeralda’s. We ate there 3 times. After one night we moved to a private room off the courtyard. It was lush. Casa Mazeta was the only hostel I’ve felt completely comfortable. It really was a home away from home. So much so we changed our stay from two nights to five. On our last night we were lucky enough to experience a light festival and then ended with karaoke with the locals in Bar Rumba. Recommend for anybody heading to Ruta de la Flores."
