"Great experience, not only a great original, but also education. we visited early March and although we could not experience everything and see what it was still very pleasant and a great trip out (also near a robin who was very photogenic). the shop has many different things to choose from far glass, key chain and even cup. because it was a rainy day, we went to the caffe for a brew and a little tasty, I'm sorry to have the nice staff, as we stood there for age groups, as the options were too hard to choose, so I highly recommend! great for the family and children and even the four-legged friends as their one dog route also."

"Very friendly, beautiful atmosphere and a generally beautiful place to spend the evening. Being vegan feels quite normal here because of the wide range of vegan foods. They are always really happy to veganize food and the staff led me to the only vegan cheese I can and actually want. Violife btw . Very recommended"

"We had Cod with Parmentier Potatoes....5 of them, 5 tiny squares of potato, the meal was £23.30, we couldnt believe it so asked the waiter if this was normal...he said it was. Thankfully we had ordered a root veg side which topped up our half empty plates!."

"We’ve been to Elaine’s for a bite to eat several times but this was our first visit for Sunday lunch. It was very busy so I’m glad we booked (recommended for a Sunday). We both ordered the roast beef dinner which was exceptional. Lovely home cooked grub. We had room for a sweet so I had lemon cheese cake and my wife had plumb crumble. All washed down with a generous pot of Yorkshire tea and we had a take out of cake for later."

"We met up with friends plus beagle dog at the Bayhorse , Ellel near Lancaster for a second time this year , while away on our hols in Cumbria . The food was even better than our previous trip in April which...was pretty good then too Had amazing starters , locally produced cured salmon pickled beets pork terrine that we couldn’t get enough of too ! This was followed by super tasty confit of duck legs , seasonal spiced red cabbage , beautiful compliment of jus with blackberries ended on a great homemade orange almond cake . We have eaten in many great gastric pubs restaurants all over the UK are fussy the quality of the food and the excellent , attentive service welcoming feel given by the staff certainly made it worth the trip . Thanks for giving us such a nice time we heartily recommend this place , for a great relaxing lunch with really good tasty food nice atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble either . We will be back if we had this quality inn on our doorstep , we would be back far more often . What a real gem of a place !"

"An absolute treasure of a cafe well worth a visit. At the south end of the bay stretching up to Morecombe and the Lake District on a clear day the views from the cliffs are breathtaking. All the produce is cooked in house, the baking is outstanding, imaginative and totally delicious. Salad boxes or home made panini's and focaccia for lunch grab and go, tea/coffee/milkshakes. Local ice cream its all here. Car park opposite and walk along the cliff tops just out the back, with Roman Tombs to view."
