"This coffeebar ist located right at the port. You can watch the ships and the sailing boats on the lake. It is at the end of the promenade which means that it is not so busy like the cafés right in the middle. The food...is great! The furniture is creative and colourful. Make sure to stop by!"

"Das Café liegt am Hafen was sehr nett ist, jedoch sind die Sitzgelegenheiten sehr beengt. Erstmal sollte es ein Cappuccino sein, jedoch war dieser so schlecht das er den Namen nicht verdient hat. Er war sehr wässrig, was wohl auch kein Einzelfall zu sein scheint. Wir bestellten danach nichts mehr. Der Service war freundlich und zügig. Dafür gibt es den einen Punkt."

"I’ve been travelling through Bavaria for three weeks including a few days on Lindau. The food throughout the trip has been variable with few highlights but Weinstube Frey is one of the exceptions. From the outside you could easily miss this restaurant especially as the...restaurant itself is on the first floor but seek it out and you won’t be disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful. Taking you back several hundred years it’s panelled walls, ancient beams and glorious windows truly set the scene for a memorable meal. Like other restaurants in Lindau dining is casual as most people are on holiday and don’t necessarily have the appropriate clothing for a more formal experience. Service was exceptional for Lindau where I have found most restaurants busy, lacking in atmosphere and very much “ production line”. The staff in Weinstube Frey, although busy were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The menu is quite small but nether the less there is something for everyone. My Zwiebelrostbraten steak with fried onions was exceptionally good especially the accompanying sauce. The house wines sourced very locally are also very good. Overall this was one of the best restaurant experiences, particularly for Lindau. It’s offers great value for money, caring staff, great location and excellent food. I highly recommend you try it and don’t forget to book"

"The best hotel in lindau! the Bavarian farm is undoubtedly the best hotel in lindau, right at the harbour with a fantastic view of the lake and the alps. it is very well maintained, of course something has come into the years, but in shot impeccable. in the rooms it is worth booking garden or lake view. the prices directly in the hotel do not leave from the trips in the hotel portal pages in the internet according to my experience. W-LAN reception from the telekom. super: breakfast and the restaurant are great. the cake in the caffe comes from a nearby spicy, first choice. personal isbaus-pronounced friendly and courteous. also the pool and the small rasen outside are very good in shot, sometimes a bit loud, because in the harbour is the harbour promenade. what could be better: the hotel’s reservation system does not radiate through user-friendlyness. the gym is quite beautiful, but the devices are not on the current stand or partially defective. two more tips: behind the hotel there is a bike rental with cheap trips. in the traditional local there is the fisherman good wine and charming atmosphere."

"I had breakfast with my girlfriend. Right by the lake. The view is therefore fantastic. The food was very delicious and service very friendly. Would come back at any time. One of the best breakfasts I had."
