"Absolutely love this place. Always full every evening. Food is delicious and the staff are so genuinely kind and amazingly friendly and welcoming. It is located right on the beach, and perfect to go to after watching the sunset. Very reasonably priced considering it's prime beach front location. Toilets have toilet roll, hand soap and paper towels....always a bonus! Definitely recommend this place."

"4 nights of pure island bliss. Wonderful food with extensive range of Italian dishes. Massages are one of the best I’ve ever had. Kayaking everyday with some decent snorkeling and our favorite turtle right out front ! Can’t wait to come back."

"We were here for over 2 weeks. kuta baru is located in the best location, all you need is footsteps from the hotel, restaurants, moped rental, bars, super market and of course kuta beach. we were so impressed by the hotel and it is pleasant, great room, great size and clean. the swimming pool is ideal for living, excellent sushi restaurant and breakfast (buffet). the owner (Christian) was very friendly and often gave us tips where to go in lombok. the staff was very friendly and helpful. we recommend this hotel and will return."

"Shows it’s age and needs a renovation but it’s a comfortable bed Positive: comfortable beds, A/C works, breakfast is good, beds, sheets, pillows are clean and very comfortable, staff is very friendly, and fridge keeps drinks icy cold, breakfast french toast was amazing and Thai chicken excellent. Very nice servers who will get you anything you want with a smile. Negative: worn out rooms, old furniture from the 80’s, broken sliding door to terrace, first room smelled of mold but we changed rooms and it’s fine. I would not stay here again due to the older neighborhood, location from the action, and no night life but it’s only for 2 nights and it’s okay for the price and a peaceful nights sleep. Lots of expatriates live in the area so a ton of fine dining western restaurants within walking distance"
