"One million At an evening walk in a quiet painter I discovered this cafe that somehow woke my attention... and two days later, my husband and I dared to visit. I get used to mourning as a delay: except in large cities such as Hamburg or Berlin, breakfast offers are available at no later than 12 o'clock. Why this is so hard to understand. Not so in Café Känchen: Breakfast is served here as long as the bread shop is sufficient or pre-ordered. After a short telephone call, we were able to get about half the twelve to Dutch Switzerland because a friendly gentleman gave a warning: You have enough rolls in stock, we should like to arrive. Nothing better than that, the photos of homemade cakes on the site had already motivated me very much. Parking can be done free at the edge of the busy railway station, known as “Shopping Mile” by Malente. The café has been in place for two years and is located almost in the middle of it in rooms that have long been used by a watchmaker and jeweler. Charming furniture: cozy benches and chairs in front of solid wooden tables, coffee pots everywhere and other accessories, white roses as jewelry on dark wood, bright red lumbar chair in a sort of séparée in front of the squeaking unisex washroom. In the background, the music has already been on the Hump runs from Freddy Quinn to Bee Gees to Procol Harum for every taste. The bakery draws a scent through the rooms that let the water flow together into the mouth... We like to take place and the pretty clear maps that the nice waiter (owner? us friendly enough. In addition to some breakfasts you will also find selected small dishes served from 12 o'clock: snacks, baguettes, quiches, Kaiserschmarrn, Poffertjes and Stramme boys with different fees not to forget to admire the cakes and cake specialities in a shop window and all look great. We order the Café Kännchen Deluxe Duett (22, and wait for things to come... First, O juice is served: freshly pressed, deliciously fragrant and excellently mouthful. It doesn't take long until we sit in front of the pure porcelain and look forward to being here. Truly, there is no wish open: spicy hot organic eggs refined with fresh herbs, high quality whole grain bread rolls, aroma cheese (not from the refrigerator, so pleasant!, ripe fruits, crunchy vegetables, sufficient butter, a delicious spread of tomatoes and basil, strawberry jam, fresh cheese and not least the ingenious Toffitella We feel rich! If we pappsat and overjoy our plates, it is clear that this was perhaps the best breakfast we could ever eat. The waiter shines over the whole face and is very pleased when I give him my praise in the highest tones and even a few joyful tears on the way... We still get the last rumball (for later, pay the bill and can take a happy, 100 safe “until very soon” farewell. "Secret lace at the edge of nothingness On a bike tour through the beautiful Dutch Switzerland we discovered this jewel: beautifully hidden at an outer corner of the Kellersee, an absolutely charming location! They are well filled on this sunny day, with wheels, mopeds and cars whose signs indicate a long journey. Amazingly we come closer and admire the rustic charm that the small cottage flows on the lake. On the shore all kinds of equipment for fishing, in the water some small boats swing. Various seats, sometimes without wind protection, invite you to stay. But first eat, because after a good 25 km bike we are more than hungry! Ordered inside, self-service is announced. The offer: various fish rolls, homemade dinkel fruit cakes, various alcohol-free cold and hot drinks as well as a small, fine selection of beers and organic wines. The waiter's snake is long, and I want awkward, but friend U. discovers a well-padded bank in the small guest room and invites me to make it cozy with her while our men are brave for us to hunt for food. Much faster than originally feared, they are radiant in front of us and present the prey: crispy warm rolls with smoked salmon, smoked salmon and brathering, tasty to look at and enjoy all dimensions. While pleasant music we have blown, we look forward to the fresh fish with the delicious sauce. By the way, I am interested in watching the ride behind the vault: the young, well-trained staff receives every customer's request, all processes are well organized, and despite the enormous urge there are hardly any more waiting times. Each order is freshly prepared in the adjacent kitchen and received by the guest. We are absolutely enthusiastic about the fish rolls and order us for Dessert Eager cocoa and cappuccino. Drinks are served in large cups so pleasant! The Seehütte is cheaper for you: The reels are between three and four euros, for a hot drink we have 2.20 euros (or so). Outside it is wonderfully idyllic, but today also very windy, so we only take a few minutes on the terrace, enjoy the breathtaking view over the moving lake and will also witness how a small excursion steamer applies. A short visit to the village proves: everything is also impeccable here. Satt and satisfied we climb on our wire fabric and announce Unisono: “Until soon... we will definitely come back!” Conclusion: fantastic. It's better not!"
