"Excellent all around. After 7+ hours at Manuel Antonio National Park complete with sloths, monkeys and swimming on beautiful beaches followed with cool showers, we were seated at the premium sunset viewing table. Great happy hour cocktails soon followed along with Peruvian ceviche, maybe another cocktail and wonderful entrées at a reasonable price. Hi quality ingredients, high quality preparation."

"Dinner was fine, we had ribs they were very good. However I 'm definitely not giving a 5 star for one small detail, the one thing that I really hate when it happens. In Costa Rica you can drink tap water, and you can always ask for a glass of water at a restaurant without being charged for it. Except in La Cantina, the waiter asks if you want some water, and then comes back with a large bottle of water (with their brand on the bottle) and fake the opening of the bottle. This was tap water 100%, and the bottle was already open. They just refill the bottles and fake the opening, just as if it was a new bottle everytime. Of course I wasn 't expecting to be charge for free water at the end. For a 100USD dinner for two, this was just too much. I let the waiter know, and his reply was: next time you will know ! That is a small detail but that just gives you a bittersweet feeling of your overall dinner experience. Although the waiter wasn 't smart, because what he charged us for the free water , would have been given to him as an extra tip."

"The hotel is beautiful, the view is beautiful. we had some problems with the rooms, but this was especially not to book correctly on our travel agencies. they corrected our roomwork and it seemed ok. when we were in our room, the shower had dachleck, that was pretty bad. they tried to find another room for us, but because we had to do with a sick one, and some other problems we asked to stay and fix. what makes this resort excellent is how it treats our situation. not only that they repair our dachleck in about 3 hours, but they ensured that we needed everything for the baby. we offer food/milk, among other things, and they have updated to each step of the process. real profis. I would stay in a heartbeat again!"
