"It’s such a disappointment to write this review. Had a fantastic experience 3 years ago; however the place has completely gone down since. In summary: Mediocre food, below average service, and a manager that took no responsibility or wanted to understand what went wrong suggest book your next event at another local balmoral venue. Bread, oysters, cold and hot starters were brought at the same time when we politely asked for the hot food to be taken away so we could enjoy the cold starters without the hot food going cold we were told the food would ‘dry up’ under the heated lamp… staff was shocked when we asked for it to be made fresh considering it’s a fine dining venue. Waitress was rude when bringing the hot food and saying “take two” before dropping the plates on the table and quickly leaving. Food was average at best, the spaghettini had no flavour other than a bunch of undercooked celery and the Eye fillet was overcooked. At this point we were frustrated with the service and quality of the food, when we gave the feedback to the manager he insisted the food was cooked properly and didn’t see what was wrong with the service… a free dessert is the only thing he could offer. We politely declined the disingenuous attempt to sweeten the experience, pointing out we are sharing our feedback to him so other patrons don’t walk out with a similar experience. At the end he insisted nothing was wrong."

"Never a good idea to challenge fate. We had been Mosman Rowers for breakfast previously and, although the service then was execrable, the food was very good - so we entered with the rationale ‘how bad can it be?’. <br>

Oh dear. The service was as we remembered it (although after a certain amount of elapsed time the concept of ‘service’ ceases to be relevant). The food was not as we remembered it. My brioche French toast was clearly supermarket-industrial-white French toast. My wife’s zucchini and corn fritter was, in fact, a zucchini-free zone (presumably it had eloped with the brioche) and one cannot but sympathise with the chef who, not unreasonably, had assumed from the external charring that the middle was cooked. <br>

We could at least complain (we did) and withhold a tip but the waitress – presumably anticipating our reaction from those of previous customers - extracted her own by short-changing me. <br>

Only the fact the coffee was ‘all right’ kept them from a perfect score. Avoid."

"Service is really amazing! Visiting from Dubai and was overall happy with everything! Prices are also reasonably priced awesome presentation of meals...in cute tagine pots morrocan meatballs were really yummy...but more flavor/seasoning would of made them better!"

"Bad customer service. 1. Looking at the kid's menu to order a juice or Ice cream for the kids but the staff suddenly said "this is kid menu, look at the price!" How rude is this? He treated me like a person who does not even know kid menu or deliberately order kid menu to save money or something. 2. This rudeness happened again at the counter when I pay for the table. The male staff did not say thanks. Only word from his arrogant mouse is "pay pass?" He did not mention how much the table was, instead he just showed me the receipt. Then when I finish paying and say thanks to him but he ignored me with grumpy face. This is not only one experience happened at one particular day. I am just telling you one example. The staff, espacially male staff, they have attutude problem and dont know how to treat their customers. Their coffee is good but not to overcome their poor service. Maybe I can still use them only to get a takeaway coffee. Foods are just average. So big NO from me."

"Amazing experience at Ormeggio, the food is fantastic and the service was attentive and friendly. It was our first time there and we really enjoyed it. The cuisine is basically Italian Seafood but done in a fun, inventive and interesting way. Also the plating and service is unique, would highly recommend checking them out when you can."
