"Well this place is called No. 1 for a reason in my opinion. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious and plentiful. We especially liked the fish chips and the crab sandwich. Lovely location overlooking the bay. A very busy place at peak times so there is likely to be a wait unless pre-booked. I would be happy to eat here again and would highly recommend it"

"Its such a shame as we visit sea palling every year. I dont know if it's changed hands or what? The young girl who served us was very difficult and unhelpful when we had questions about the food, her attitude towards customers definitely needs improving as a lady on the opposite table to us was complaining about her too.. When our food arrived, the burgers were flat like pancakes and tasted like rubber. Our large chips that we usually share between us would not have filled up my 8yr old. I understand the price increases with the cost of living, but the quality has definitely gone downhill and so has the service. Time to find a new chip shop.... "Excellent eating. fantastic. prebook for lunch after a steak observation and home along the coast. sitting in the marquee at the back of the pub, our youngs said it was the first thing we said. that's the first class! the starters were ordered immediately and delivered immediately. the children loved the cheese souffle, with others start equally well. the midday menu nets were well proportional, with thoughts in a suitable wein pairing suggestion. some local ales are also recommended."

"Would like to have a big thanks to all the staff in the shed we had a beautiful motherday afternoon tee. the cakes, baked and sandwiches were all tasty. the employees were all super beautiful and very attentive when considering that they were so busy. also thanks for my mother's day to plant, a really beautiful note. many thanks again, we will be back"

"Beautiful caffe in the area of hoveton hall, but they can go here without visiting the gardens. good selection of cakes and light bites. we sat outside, as not sure as it is inside. my daughter had bacon sandwich that was scratched with speck, and I wish that was my choice! I had a cheess that was enormous and unfortunately cold, so make sure that she heated it when that's her preference. beautiful tee with enough for three tassen per! very peaceful and pretty with all plants."

"These guys have made a huge investment and replaced everything in Alberts Fish Bar. There is now a new addition to the menu, Shawarma. I had the shawarma meat tray which comes with salad and chips with a choice of sauces…amazing flavour. My partner had her favourite, cod and chips, again cooked to order and always so tasty. All food here is cooked to order. They do get busy because their food is very good. Expect to wait whilst the cook your food for you. The wait is worth it as they always produce the best fish and chips. I think the last comment was somewhat harsh when you consider all the other positive comments. This team have a passion to deliver the best , and they definitely do that."
