"Went here for a spur of the moment choice. Sunday lunch was absolutely beautiful. Full of flavour and enough to fill your tum even if it didn't look much at first. Got one beef brisket, one pan fried chicken breast both with mash (spring onions I side was a very tasty surprise), large Yorkshire pudding and a separate tray of veg for us to share which was the usual roasties, swede mash, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli and extra gravy. One coke, one lemonade. All for £30. Sat outside in the sun and service was quick too."

"The cakes here are different to anything around the area, which is really great. They are tasty and make a nice treat while out and about. We took two away to bring to a friend's house and they were a big hit with their kids."

"I had a nice meal today with my grandson. friendly service. clean and tidy. good prices. about 5 10 minutes walk from the metro wallsend and the local bus stop right in front of the house door. it is located right next to the shopping center wallsend and good local pubs. I will definitely be back and I have already visited with friends and family. toilets are down and have access x"

"Friendly staff couldn't be more helpful, pet friendly too. Nice,clean and well set out. A good choice on the menu. We had the beer battered haddock fish and chips excellent portion and tasty. Would highly recommend this restaurant."

"Took my dog here about a month ago and he had the best time, he loved that he could interact with others dogs in the cafe especially while I could sit and have a cuppa too. The staff were lovely and very greeting would definitely recommend going for a visit with your pooches."

"We visited the country house tea rooms for some afternoon nibbles. The food was ok however sandwich fillings were meagre and the scones were small. Staff were pleasant and polite. Decor was quirky but the toilets were not good. What I would say is that we were really disappointed to get charged £1.50 for a glass of hot water And lemon to accompany a coffee .....especially when a mug of coffee cost £3.30!!! I don't think I've ever paid that! On top of that they charged us 10p to provide hot milk over cold for the coffee. Anyhow, such a shame that things that seem to be standard were squeezed out of our pockets. For the cost of an afternoon tea for two.... We could have had a full meal elsewhere. Came away feeling ripped off. Won't be recommending."
