"This restaurant found on the website 'the fork ' as reviews were good we booked it and we were thrilled. prompt, friendly service, nice eating and reasonable prices w bill $99 for olive oil brot, x2 net, x1 dessert, x2 weine x1 bier. worth big plus was that they made me the tri quinoa salat, although it is no longer on the menu thank you. it was great:"

"I have eaten at Narai Thai literally dozens of times over the decades. It was one of the first Northcote/Thornbury haunts that wasn't a pub, and it effectively set the standard for the area. On a recent visit we agreed that we had never had a bad meal here. Yes, the service can vary, but the food is always good and as it's still BYO, an evening here is good value.The night we were there consisted of two big tables - a hen's night and a birthday group. Although it was noisy, we still had our order taken and received our meal in acceptable timeframes. We had the curry puffs and the prawns wrapped n spring roll wrappers to start. Both were great. As was our pad thai with prawn and a yellow beef curry. This is a local worth going back for."

"What was once a great local restaurant with the most charming service ever has gone downhill under new management. I dined there tonight with my husband and mother and it was noisy and over crowded with people ordering takeaway and there was a general atmosphere of chaos. The food was still good, although they got our order wrong, but it was very slow in coming."

"First visit on Sunday. good food to good trips. there was a food truck (wood-fired pizza) that was not listed on the website, which was actually there. huge, oppositely large selection of drinks. play area, but many of the games were out of order (our...the roll their money). large functional range. good music and a large sitting area in the free with schnapps. is really busy. delicious choc-coated donuts!"

"Red door is a super sweet little cafe I loved when I eat gluten, but fortunately a decent selection of gluten-free options happens! While many of the gluten-free options consist of removing bread from the options (not ideal) they have gluten-free bread you can use with their eggs on toast or sandwiches (which are both very beautiful). My order is her eggs Benedict on a potato rust, with pulled pork that can make them contamination-free. There are also a handful of other GF options that I did not try, but assume are also really nice! So if you want to find a large gluten-free brunch spot, this is the place!"

"Barry as always was busy and the service good. Loads of options are available and being a cold morning I went for the chilli eggs. Unfortunately there was no heat at all in the chilli even though it was clearly visible. The portion size was slightly small too. The Benedict with pulled pork however was very good as was the coffee. Stronger chilli next time"

"Stopped in for brunch with the family and OMG it was SENSATIONAL. The pancake was amazing and the fairy-floss is the most ingenious idea. Coffee was spot on, eggs poached to perfection and customer service was among the best I have ever had. What a beautiful little place this is and should be on everyone 's one to try ."
