"I did not know where to eat in Orillia, but I was assured that this was a popular spot. Many many take out orders as I waited for mine on the sunny patio outside Golden wok. Food was good, average maybe, but friendly evening to start my time there. Fried rice, Moo goo guy pan, Egg roll, dessert, Great location, near the beach."

"This is the same standard menu for East Side Mario's. There were pastas, salads, sandwiches. Everything tasty. What made it special this year is that they were so well prepared to deal with Covid-19. The patio has shade, tables at least six feet apart (maybe more). Wait staff wear masks and so do the customers except when eating. When someone leaves, we saw they clean the tables and chairs with a disinfectant. Oh yes, and the food was good too! BTW, they will also deliver through Skip the Dishes."

"When we go to Casino Rama, we really like to enjoy a good breakfast. The Weirs is open for breakfast and lunch (used to be open for supper too). My husband has a big appetite and he likes the portions of the meals here. Coffee is hot and strong, just how we like it! (I wish they would still leave the pot on the table like they used to do). Also, coffee not included with every meal so we find that when you have to pay to add it, it's pretty hefty price for coffee. The lighting is low, which is sometimes inconvenient. The tables are close therefore when my father-in-law comes with us, we really have to watch how we walk around with his wheelchair. That being said, employees are always more than happy to help accommodate us.Nice variety of meals for breakfast, anything from eggs to oatmeal to breakfast poutine!Good service, always smiling servers."

"Went for family supper. Place was packed outside. Server was friendly but there was a lot of issues with all tables when food was coming out. A lot of confusion with workers, orders etc. Did not get our order for drinks and appetizers for almost 20-25 minutes. Server apologized and they were nice to take the appetizers off the bill. Didn’t have to say anything and they acted on their own which was refreshing. Food was good and server was very friendly. We would return for another try."

"I understand the history of French's restaurant booth. Longevity in business is to be encouraged. However, the french fies are absolutely awful. The look like skinny pieces of straw and taste like frozen fries that are undercooked. I would not recommend this pit stop to anyone who is expecting a good order of fresh cut fries."

"From the time you walk in the door there is the feeling of home in the air. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is great and unlike a majority of places we go to the music is at a level where you can still have a conversation without having to yell. BTW if you are a younger person the music is cool jazz so be warned."

"Boring. Tiny little pub with confusing decor mix of Scottish and British yard sale looking items seats maybe 40 not including the bar stools which were in bad shape. Items that were supposedly on offer were unavailable We ordered a couple of pints and the Feta Bruschetta which we didn't enjoy and didn't finish; warm bruschetta mix on too thick and insufficiently toasted baguette which of course became mushy. Not likely to visit again"
