"I grew up in the area and have been coming to Lamps for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite spots in town. The staff makes you feel like family, the food is awesome, and there is a great variety of music and events- everything from your home town acoustic musicians, to great Djs that spin your favorite dance music, all the way to karaoke and finding fun nights. I will always recommend Lamplighters!"

"Bread and Butter is exceptional! Would really recommend it especially for those who likes peaceful and well organized place. I always go here whenever I have my free time. the ambiance of the place is really amazing and the vibes always sets up my mood. It is just very calming and really gives me the peace that I look for. Their foods are also very immaculate. Affordable yet would already solve your cravings. I always go for their hash brown, Sunday, toast, eggs bacon, and banana bread. Would really recommend this to all of you to try! All are well-seasoned, delicious and tasty. Their size portion is neat as well and really sets off the deal. They have an absolutely perfect breakfast ambiance and the atmosphere of this place is great. Their service as well. Their staff are very much cooperative, friendly, kind, patient and professional. Great place, neat people to be with and their foods are on point! Thank you for the wonderful experience and awesome service guys! You all really made my experience better and unforgettable. "I love culver 's, it 's a Midwest icon!! However the young man working the counter could not understand what was happening when trying to take my order. He couldn 't figure out how to use the register and couldn 't understand what I meant when I asked for no onions . It wasn 't a language barrier at all, I have an extremely strong feeling he was high.Anyways I just gave up and paid for my meal and he got the wrong size on every single one of my items."

"I know inflation meets everyone, but the portion sizes were quite shocking. Tap the owners, load only extra 2 mice to any dish and add in more noodles and meat. Honestly, everyone in the family was hungry after dinner and we are small."

"Casual, relaxed, friendly, wood-clad atmosphere in the southern Palatine. We have dined several times and 97% of the time the food was abundant and delicious. This neighbourhood Grill/Pub has a pretty robust Tex/Mex menu. The asparagus Buffalo Chicken Salad can become sharp, but they can soften it for sensitive palates. For those on a budget or looking for a deal, they satisfy both with food and drink specialties such as $5 hamburgers/ries on Wednesday nights or anything you can eat fish fry ocean perch on Friday for $10.95. Check out their website to see their regular specials. Many TVs in the bar area. Sometimes the music is a tad loud, but they make it gracious when you ask. The outdoor dining area is along Plum Grove Road on the west side of the building with only parasol and no particularly beautiful surroundings, especially in the hot sun. Strategic landscape design could improve this."
