"Love this pub. Has an old, classic feel and charm, good choice of beers and drinks and really good food with a varied menu; something for everyone. Terrace was hopping when we were there and their 4-7 pm Happy Hour is a good deal."

"Service was extremely slow. My salad had brown slimy bits in it, for the price, I think someone should've checked the quality of the lettuce. We had to ask for tea and coffee, they didn't seem to notice we were waiting for a long time. They mixed up the prices on the bills. The other ladies enjoyed their lunches, but complained about the long waiting time."

"Albeit a bit pricey, the food here was very good! We had the veal, Tuna, and Salmon entres, and enjoyed them. The atmosphere was excellent, and service was very good. Staff was very knowledgeable and was able to make suggestions."

With her recent launch of La Mie Bio Boulangerie Artisanale in the Pointe Claire Village she aims to bring healthy organic food to individuals...and families on the west island. La Mie Bio Boulangerie Artisanale,Heather Boyd, Rhonda Massad, West Island Blog La Mie Bio offers organic breads and baked goods from Le Fromentier in the Plateau Mont Royal. There is an array of classic pastries and specialty items such as spelt croissants for the health conscious and maple ones for the sweet tooth! They also offer a line of raw vegan items from Crudessence. The ready-to-eat counter has a wide selection of nitrate-free charcuterie, quiches, spreads and soups. There is non-pasteurized yogurt from a local farm that respects the environment and is pesticide-free. There are many gluten-free and lactose-free products and new items will be added depending on customer needs. Lucie will be adding her own home-made treats and is available for catering. There is an extensive fresh sandwich menu made with organic local ingredients. Look forward to picnic boxes that will be available soon. Perfect for a picnic by the water. La Mie Bio is located in a quaint house on Lakeshore Road just west of Cartier. Lucie is delighted to provide a family environment that encourages children to discover delicious, healthy food. "Went there for my birthday for breakfast with he family. We got there at the right time because the hostess told us they were expecting a reservation of 30 people. Service was courteous but extremely quick. We got seated and coffee in under a minute. Our orders were taken less than 5 minutes later and the the food arrived maybe 10 minutes after that. We were in and out in under an hour. The food itself is amazing. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. Their breakfast potatoes are mashed and seasoned with spices and onion (you can order plain if you like), they were AWESOME. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Their staff are very attentive with the clients, always checking up on coffee. One of the better bang for your buck breakfast places in the city. I will recommend this establishment to others."
