"Had breakfast here with my bro and dad the other day. The coffee was really good but the food was definitely the star of the show. I got the french toast which had loads of berries and banana and was generally very delicious, my brother got the mixed plate which had a little bit of everything and looked amazing, if you cant decide whether your in a savory or sweet mood the mixed plate is an excellent choice, my dad got the granola which again looked fantastic. The place itself is cute and eclectic. very chilled out vibe."

"5 years ago I came here from the other side of Melbourne, Lakes Entrance, and found the city was quiet. It has developed a lot over five years. There are more shops, new infrastructure on the port for the wood industry and for tourism. We visited many more interesting places in the bridge water area, and the Cape Bridgewater mountain is worth walking, although we don't see many seals as expected."

"I've had the pleasure of eating here twice during recent business trips to Portland. Service is spot on, as is the food. I particularly enjoyed the Schezuan Seafood. Very reasonably priced and well worth a visit."

"This hotel was recommended to us and we followed a booking for two to dinner. it was just as good, because the dining room was fully booked! the barmaid who took our booking was really friendly and gave us a great table in a small corner shit away. she was also very good during the service when a few drunk and innocent men gave their march orders and said to leave the dining room. we were warned that dinner would take up to 45 minutes to arrive after the order, and that is how long it took. the delay was due to the number of patrons so that was perfectly understandable. it was not a problem for us, and we were happy to wait. our meals arrived and while they were typical, they were also considerable and we could not finish them. the dining room was clean and tidy and the staff was all friendly and efficient. we would like to eat here again."
