"Very nice restaurant on the sea! eating is very tasty, especially the raw seafood I really recommend. also the wee we ordered was very good. prices are somewhat high, but this seems to be the regular price level in portofino. the waiters were very nice and helpful. recommended!"

"Difficult to assess a restaurant of this type. do you value it for what the menhmoffer is? for the location? for the price? or for what it offers having behind a star? we take menu degoting course. excellent appetizer, good risotto, very basic the orata. good raw materials, well made dishes, few emotions. wonderful location, but this is merit of the square. fast service, so personal, error when just after ordering comes a room operator and leaves me the menu. Pre-baked dishes the right. coffee and small water pastry and gevurztraminer with list around at honest prices also insane for portofino. something needs to be settled."

"Winterose isn't really a restaurant although it is listed as one. In reality, it is a small, cozy, but slightly careworn wine bar with a splendid selection of wines some of them very expensive (but then everything's expensive in Portofino) accompanied by a carefully chosen range of local hams, salamis and cheeses with freshly baked rye bread. We sat outside in the spring sunshine overlooking the phalanx of mega yachts in the pretty little harbour and enjoyed a couple of bottles of the local La Capelletta vermentino. Heaven."

"Cracco is a synonym of quality experiences although this time sounds as an heavy name, a brand so strong that it might not let those fantastic young professionals get the positive recognition that they deserve. We spontaneusly visited the restaurant while passing in front of it, strolling along the picturesque Portofino harbour. No reservations. (We had a fantastic 11 courses dinner a week earlier in Milano, with chef Cracco himself overlooking operations and we were skeptical towards this new branch in Portofino thinking that they might just be using his name, his brand in a fantastic location). We have been pleasantly surprised: a young chef with a strong identity that managed to prepare a three/four courses vegan lunch using locally sourced fresh ingredients while even using ancient cooking techniques. attentive, friendly yet professional service staff. arguably the most beautiful location in Portofino, including a fantastic rooftop bar. We shall definitely come back."

"Lovely location for breakfast and friendly service but our crepes weren't cooked through. They were very sloppy and felt ill afterwards. No prices anywhere either and felt there was a surcharge for tourists."
