"We went there by accident, we where looking for another restaurant someone recommended us. We got lost and decided to try this place because it was late at night and we were hungry. I asked for a cocktail shrimp and it had only one shrimp.. the rest was only salad). My daughter asked for fried chicken and it was three super extra thin chicken slices but she liked it. My Mom asked for “fried fish”... For us fish is not seafood, right??? This guy came with a plate with everything fried inside and my Mom is allergic to shrimps which was included in the plate. Guess what??? He said that it was explained in the Menu and because it was our fault I will be charged for that. My Mom was hungry so I asked for a Grilled fish with only “a fish” . Meanwhile I checked the Menu and surprise!?!?!... it didnt say anything explaining the famous fried fish plate. I told them I will pay for everything except that, and they argue about it. Finally the grilled fish arrived and believe it or not, it was disgusting... it wasnt grilled, it looked more like it was dipped in grease and looked uncooked. My Mom couldnt eat it. At the end, they said I wont be charged for the first dish which was the one that included shrimps but I am pretty sure they did it. The total amount was about I paid and left this place because my Mom was soooo mad and sad. Her first restaurant in Italy. A memory to remember... Thanks guys, you did the worst customer service in the world!!! Good luck..."

"Family run bar restaurant (the Cicciotti's) had 3 or 4 generations on tap on our visit ! A real pleasant way to relax enjoy a couple of drinks and some lovely snacks while watching the water the visitors flow around Porto Venere !"
