"We attended this Saturday for lunch while out shopping in Talbot Green. We were handed the standard menus, childrens menus and the lunch menus. While ordering we specified that we were ordering from the lunch menu provided as well as the main and childrens menus. This was acknowledged and the orders were placed. Only when the bill came were we told there was no lunch menu available, this should have been started when we ordered the food, not while paying. Not only this but we were in the restaurant for over 2 hours, had to collect our own glasses after 30 minutes as the waitress forgot. Had to go to the bar to ask to order the deserts. The waitress must have noticed because as soon as I sat down she came to the table and said what do you want? the bill? . It felt very much like she 'd realised how long we 'd been there and was trying to hurry us out. When the desert was brought out, the bowls had food residue from previous use. While the food itself was lovely, it shouldn 't have taken more than 2 hours for a two course meal. If there were long wait times this should also have been specified from the start. We eat at Harvester often, but this will be our first and last time at this particular one. Absolute Chaos!"

"Very poor quality and expensive, staff pleasant enough although lack experience and nice setting but the food really does let the place down. We will give it one more try and if no improvement we will be crossing it off our list of places to visit. Will give it a while though its going to take a while to get over yesterdays visit!"

"Visited here on the off-chance on a Saturday afternoon. A lovely warm welcome awaits, always staff on hand and a very busy pub. The restaurant was full so we sat in the bar area. It was slightly too small but didn’t spoil our meal. Service is quick and the food is delicious, presented well and a good selection on the menu. There is lots of character in this pub and it’s very popular. My only negative is the car park. Set on a hill and gravel but has lots of pot holes. Recommend you park walk on the road up to the pub."

"I visited here during the October half term school holiday and was overwhelmed by the generosity of the owner, who was selling children's meals for just £1. The fish shop was also selling family lockdown meals at amazing prices. The staff are inovative with the menu and are always adding new meals and offers that can be found on their Facebook page. On this occasion I ordered two fish and chips with mushy peas, which were very reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. The batter was light and crispy and the chips were perfect. I can't wait to return as this is one of my favourite places to get a takeaway."

"Had a sumptuous afternoon tea with my daughter yesterday.Second visit .Staff just as welcoming and friendly.The tea is itself was very good.We both thoroughly enjoyed it and had nothing to complain about.Excellent value.Had a browse upstairs this time and very impressed with the range of quality items.Will definitely be back."
