"After booking through the open table I received a call from a man to confirm. Upon arrival in the restaurant the smell and atmosphere was divine. We were shown to our table and informed about the specialties and then our wine was brought to us with water for the table. There was a family group next to us and they seemed to order different meals from the menu, but nothing was too much trouble for the happy, friendly staff. We ate the steak food for two, this was cooked for perfection and the bottle of rose was also beautiful. I would also recommend that you try the Dianne Sauce if Steak. The dessert was also beautiful and nothing was too much for the friendly, happy staff. Will definitely recommend and next time we will go back to the area. Thanks for a nice evening."

"The service was exceptionally wonderful. Location of the restaurant is magnificent overlooking the lake across from Palm tree house The ambiance was rather flat, but perhaps it was to do with the fact that our lunch was late in the afternoon. The food was OK, very small portions for rather costly bill."

"Delicious food and great service of benjamin. went una to Sunday dinner with the family. eating is nice, serving are a bit small. the malay popcorn prawns were amazing. would go back. una make sure they keep benjamin, great service, inviting, rest of the staff not so much. the atmosphere was beautiful."

"Great food, great pub atmosphere in an old, old, old building. We had the flat iron steak, I had squash food, all very tasty. Prosecco to cheer up, cold and perfect… Good selection of beers although they all looks water to me… very reasonable prices. I will return for sure!"

"Excellent food and very good price. I had the salmon to begin and the woman had the chicken liver pate that came in a white chocolate dish. for the net I had the excellent beef wellington for one and she had a nice vegan risotto. all good and reasonable price."

"Just popped in for drinks, good atmosphere and lovely staff, very helpful. Good range of drinks Wheelchair accessibility: Need to enter by the side door as front entrance is stepped. Tables are close together in the bar area ao if people are sat on them you need to ask them to pull in/move but it is possible to get a chair through. Lots of spaces to sit with a range of high and low tables. Meal type: Other"

"First time we've been. The food was more than acceptable, and the service was excellent. It's a homely pub with beams, a fire and locals. We had drinks, mains and puddings and our bill was £83!!
