"OK, so my pasta was fairly average but the wine was superb and my husband's steak was tender and flavoursome. For me, at least 50% of the enjoyment is the ambience and this place has it bucket loads. Local people clearly love it as it was packed (unlike most of the other restaurants). Bill was 77€ which was quite high for what we had to eat and drink but we are very glad we chose La Charette."
