"When I first arrived, I fell in love with the natural pools and overall look of the place, but as soon as I met the owner that all changed. My partner and I were about to serve ourselves lunch until an employee shoved us aside and told us that we weren't allowed to eat at the buffet. My partner and I asked why and she (the employee) wouldn't provide a full explaination. We then found out that, that employee was the owner of the location. The owner OBVIOUSLY does not know how to talk to her customers and never apologized for her rude behavior. I filed a complaint against her and was informed by other employees that this isn't the first time customers file complaints towards her. What could've been a beautiful experience turned into something mediocre."

"Outstanding nice hotel 3 minute walk to Samana Bay. Customer service was awesome. Price for Queen bed $38/US Dollars per night for two people. Clean room, nice comfy bed, Wi-Fi, A/C very cold, and clean bathroom with glass enclosed shower/hotwa water. Highly recommended."

"From the beginning to the end this was an amazing experience. The staff is so warm and welcoming that you enjoy every minute of your stay. Angel is such an amazing bartender and entertainer, a master in reading his bar. My husband and I enjoyed separating the jungle and all the beauty he had to offer. We wanted to have a unique experience and that's all we hoped for."

"No more than two star. The hotel concept is really unique. With small chalets surounded with lots of nature, hammocks (poor plastic quality and various seating areas. However smth is not right, just the vibe is not good. The hotel has litterally no service. We stayed two nights and our room was not cleaned, towels not changed, plates from previous dinner not taken.. Hotel has no restaurant only small kitchen from where they serve extremely expensive simple food (20USD for pasta! . Cruel turist trap. For that price you can eat in the best restaurants in Santo Domingo. The small pond in front of your chalet makes a strong falling water noise so I asked turn it off for the night. The bed in chalet is quite compact if the two of you are tall and heavier built you will not have a good sleep. The best part of the hotel is cats. They come by to check if you are ok. Than clean your plate after the dinner. In the night they sing some cat serenades All in all I would advise the hotel to rething their service prices and quality."

"I forgot a short pant and a t-shirt on the shower and they did not even bother to call me to let me know. I became aware about when I was in the capital, which is about 350 km away. I hope they have a Lost and Found department, just in case I go around there in the future."
