"I honestly don't understand the positive reviews of this restaurant. Either you confused the place with another or you have never eaten well in your life. Had dinner today, sashimi inedible, tasted like soap. Stringy rice, bitter and insipid soy. Of everything I ate, the best thing was cream cheese (Philadelphia) or fortune cookies. "We had dinner here since the restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel, and had generally favorable TripAdvisor reviews. Big mistake. Despite being nearly empty, service was uneven and slow. Dishes arrived at different times, the waiter was hard to find, and the fish of the day took one hour to obtain. The food was mediocre at best. The fish was greasy and not very fresh. The pizza was boring. To top it off, they tried to overcharge us by a factor of 5 for the fish of the day, which was priced based on weight. It took some convincing, in both Italian and English, for them to correct the bill. No, we did not eat 2 kg. of fish each! We have travelled to Italy regularly for over 30 years, and love the food. This was the worse meal we have ever had in Italy. In retrospect, we should have noticed that there were no recent good reviews. Next time, we'll eat at the hotel or take a taxi to another restaurant."
