"We went to bakery 3 different times, while we were disappointed in Sidney for 3 months and every time. Not much taste in cheesecake, cookies, gluten-free squares, chocolate brownie, Macarons, although they look good. Also disappointed in the baguette.... The only article we can suggest is the Chinese gum. We wonder why there's always a lineup in front of you?"

"This place has a nice setting, it's busy and close to the water with lots of outdoor seating. The snacks looked good but we just opted for drinks. I didn't enjoy the mocha. Not sure if it was the milk or the chocolate brand but something in the dairy tasted off putting. Tossed it half way through the cup. My wife did enjoy her tea and others in the shop seemed happy, so perhaps it was just my drink."

"We went to Boondocks yesterday for dinner thanks to a Google review and we were not disappointed! I had a Dark and Stormy that was potent but delicious! For dinner I enjoyed their beef dip. This was not your run of the mill sandwich ...it was the real deal with homemade juis. I have to say it definitely made my top 5 for beef dips! On my next trip to the Island, I want to come back!"

"The food was okay. The price was okay. The service was abominable.Ten minutes to get a beer - okay. But another five minutes to get a glass to drink it out of? Another twenty minutes brought my food. So this is thirty minutes I have been in there. I had eaten most of my dinner and finished all my beer when the "sweet young thing" asked how everything was. I asked for a glass of water. Twelve minutes later she passed by my table saying she was just going to get my water. I said not to bother, I had a plane to catch and just bring me my check. She brought the check but it took another ten minutes to get someone to process my payment. At which point I shared with the staff my opinion of the service in a restaurant where people have planes to catch. My tip (lack of) expressed how disappointed I was. Next time I am in Victoria airport I will pick up a sandwich at Starbucks."
