"You could tell the food had been there for a while. The carrots were black around the edges. The sauces were dry. Nothing but bones in the spareribs. Very little vegetables in an extremely salty sauce. I had half a meatball and had to use my napkin .. it was awful. At $30 per person I was extremely disappointed. The only reason I’m giving 2 starts is because of the server who was good. Don’t waste your money"

"Years they've been open the server informed me when I said it was my first visit!! I walked in to this, to me, not very appealing brick building to be met with a visual feast! I loved the decor and felt as if I...had been transported to the Mediterranean which I have only experienced via movies, etc. I had chosen this spot for lunch with my son specifically because I hadn't ever been there and my adult kids guaranteed I would find something to eat. The server suggested the skewers, I chose chicken, and added a Greek Salad. Son had a Black Forest Chicken Sandwich with Caesar salad. My meal was DELICIOUS. They serve complimentary garlic sticks while you wait for your order. They were right out of the oven and a very scrumptious treat! I don't know what I expected but I really enjoyed every morsel of everything I ate. Son is watching what he eats so opted out of dessert. Commendable, right! I am sort of doing that but I decided to try the Vanilla Cheesecake with Lemon Curd and Chocolate topping. Soooo Good!! (Son did take one small forkful but he, though a cheesecake lover, prefers a firmer consistency Worked for me I didn't have to share!! I can't wait to go back!!!"

"I loved this joint it's menu, variety of items, the excellent friendly service, and the fun decor. I visited for brunch with a local and was surprised it was available on a weekday! The menu had smaller items, vegetarian options, traditional eggs, and seafood. It was a bright and friendly. The location on Water street was central to many of the shops and sites downtown."

"I hadn 't been to this restaurant in about 10 years, but had gift cards so decided to try it out again. When we arrived my wife and I were seated at a table to the right of the entrance very close to the door which certainly must have been the worst seat in the restaurant which may have detracted from the ambiance. I heard later that the table next to us was initially put there but they asked to move. Our waitress was kind and professional and provided good service. My wife and I both ordered the striploin and frites. After we ordered our waitress came and told us this is a Californian striploin and wanted to make sure we were fine with this. I wasn 't sure exactly what this meant, but having had striploin many times I figured it was fine. When it arrived it was 2 inches thick and looked much more reminiscent of a filled, but was much tougher. It wasn 't bad, but certainly was not what I expect and the tenderness wasn 't great. Unfortunately for the price (49+tax) there are much better options in the city (Merchant Tavern comes to mind). We also found the atmosphere not to be our preference, but this is certainly a personal preference and I believe was influenced by the table we received. Not sure we 'll visit again given the plethora of great dining options downtown. Overall an okay meal."
