"Why 5 stars? Three specifics... 1. Stocked. They had everything I was looking for when I called them before my vacation, and they took a special order without any hesitation--and they came through. I have had hit-or-miss with other special orders, like last-minute cancelations or simply flaking on the order altogether. 2. Convenient. They 're just down the street! Perhaps only figuratively, but they 're nearby, and you can get things there while getting last-minute (or forgotten) ski supplies next door and stocking up on groceries at the Safeway. 3. Attentive. There are a few stores in Steamboat that seem to have forgotten that they 're catering to people who 'll vote with their dollars, or just figure that they 'll get enough business that they can afford to be selective (read: rude). Ski Haus was busy when I was there and they were doing their best to help everyone. Ready to check out? Let 's get you going! Need help finding something? Write down what you 're looking for and we 'll make the rounds as soon as we ring this guy up! Just coming in the door? We 'll be right with you! Go into a nearby store that has everything you 're trying to find and makes you feel at home. That 's what I got here."

"Each of the dishes I ate was my favorite (cilantro-something deviled eggs, schnitzel bites, chicken-and-waffle on a stick). The drinks are spectacular and the smokey old fashioned is a show, too! Fun and attentive waitstaff. An overall incredibly enjoyable vibe."

"I have never had gratuity auto added at Ragnars and we eat here several times a winter in group sizes of 2-8 During covid we are tipping higher percentage (23-30)but on principal did not as we were not shown our total bill with pass holder discount despite asking for it to confirm the tip was included the waitress said loudly yes it was added at 18% a regular tip for our family is 20% This was by far our poorest “service” experience at Ragnars. Food is always exceptional and that was no different on this day and as we are long time locals and we will continue to dine here as we assume this a one off In fact my daughter and I returned today"

"We came here since it was recommended by the owner of our air bnb. We came around 5:30, our reservation was at 5:45. Even though our table was ready they didn't sit us until 5:45. And than I found out it was still their happy hour until 6. We sat outside since is next to the creek. The outdoor area was lovely but they could use more space heaters cause once the sun went down it got cold fast ! So happy hour drinks and food was amazing. We order almost all the food on the happy hour menu. When we try to order two drinks from the happy hour menu they told us they can only honor one round on happy hour pricing. We didn't mind since the appetizers was so yummy. My family and I decided to stay and order some dinner thinking it would be amazing. We were wrong. The food was cold, the pairing was weird and took so long to get food and even our recipes."
