"Muttigans does a decent job with our dachshunds. However there has been a lot of staff turnover which doesn’t lead to consistency. I tried to make my next appointment after a recent grooming and I was told call the following week. This supposedly is the manager!?Also, to me, Muttigans’ prices are going through the roof, but perhaps that is not unique for groomers in this area. $171 for 2 tweenie dachshunds plus a nail trim for a 3rd seems excessive. And of course I feel obliged to tip the groomer 20% since they do work very hard."

"The bake bottle and brew is in the historical part of Swansboro. A cute little town by the marshes. This shop had a bunch of cute gifts that you can purchase several types of ice cream and beers and wine. A. Once you grab all your goodies, you can step out to the back porch and view the dock with the boats in the water. It's very peaceful and very nice. Service was friendly and the ice cream was good."

"Our waiter was the best. Helpful w suggestions and attentive throughout our stay. I'm not a fish person but must admit the boils looked amazing. My philly cheesesteak was yum and I really enjoyed the sweet potato fries dusted w just right amount of powdered sugar. We are visiting from st. Louis. This was a quaint town and I didnt get to visit nearly enough shops. Maybe I'll return someday and will eat here again if I do."

"It isn't the cleanest, or the fanciest, or the fastest, but darn it they have some good seafood. And that keeps me coming back. I love clams, and they have some of the freshest clams I have had anywhere. Either steamed or fried, they are terrific! The bouy basket is also a family favorite. Banana peppers, jalapeños and pickles all fried together. And the fish tacos are terrific as well. If it is nice out, sit on the deck out back for a fabulous view. It ain't a real yacht club, but you won't be disappointed ;"
