"Recently stayed for 2 nights at an unpowered campsite. Amenities included toilets, showers with hot water, laundry and BBQs, seemed fairly new and were kept decently clean. There was also a communal fridge where you can leave your unfinished food items that you didn't want to take home with you (butter, milk etc) which I thought was a really nice touch (though not sure if anybody would actually take anything in these times with Covid and all). The showers were usually coin operated but were currently free to use. Overall, nice location with the beach basically at your doorstep, but the wind was really strong while we were there and was loud enough to wake me up a couple of times throughout the night (when I'm normally a heavy sleeper). Just a consideration when choosing the time to visit try not to go when there's going to be strong winds!"

"It costs a bit to share a huge plate of scallops, prawns (2 types), oysters (2 types), fish (2 types), Moreton Bay bugs, chips and I'm sure I've forgotten some. But at this restaurant it's worth it (and cheaper than at many others). Nice work Sue and Geoff. They even lent us shawls and a vest because the evening was chillier than we had expected."

"Enjoyable rustic atmosphere, limited menu, little innovative or different, probably best if you like burgers and gluten. Best feature is value, if you want a good breakfast without breaking the bank, you probably can't go past the scrambled eggs on toast for $9"

"Open on a monday night so we headed up to tewantin and were not disappointed. friendly service staff and guys in the kitchen regularly popped out with smiles and a 'can do' approach to various requests of diners and takeaways. the shared entree platter was generous and great value as were the size and tastes of the mains -lamb was superb and we had enough left overs for another feed that tasted equally good reheated the next day! quite a small place and whilst not fine dining it certainly ticked all the boxes for our style of casual but quality food and service. We will be back next year...or at least order delivery to Noosa which they do!! thanks BB!"

"A very pleasant experience especially if you get a table on the veranda overlooking the river. (You can book or be prepared to wait or hope to be lucky..) The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The lunch special of barramundi with innovative tasty vegetables with pear for $18.90 including a glass of wine is good value. The staff ar pleasant and if you have room, the desserts taste authentic and are worth trying. Coffee good too. We would definitely go back."
