"A warm welcome but very small 2 level restaurant. We were shown downstairs where noise was intense from 2 parties and with both sides of a narrow dining area left only a little gap for the service. Service was slow but the food was spot...on and tasty. House red was poor but bottled wine not so bad."

"À notre arrivée pour la semaine nous avons décidé de manger au restaurant. Nous avons choisi au hasard dans le centre de Val Claret, il y a le choix! Au vu des prix et des plats proposés nous avons choisi cette brasserie. Nous avons opté pour deux menus à 29€ avec entrée-plat-dessert donc prix raisonnable. Pour prendre la commande la serveuse était un peu perdue car c'était son premier jour donc excusée. Nous lui avons aussi demandé une bouteille de cidre. En l'ouvrant à notre table, la pression a fait sortir du cidre de la bouteille, la serveuse a dit que ça arrivait souvent et elle a posé la bouteille sur la table qui continuait à laisser couler du cidre. J'ai cru qu'elle allait chercher de quoi nettoyer mais après avoir attendu j'ai dû demander à quelque d'autre de nettoyer! 1er jour OK mais on ne laisse pas ça en plan! En entrée nous avons pris la tarte au beaufort, très bonne puis pour le plat une pièce de boeuf également très bonne et bien accompagnée. Pour le dessert, nous avons pris une crêpe iceberg: crêpe au chocolat avec une boule de glace vanille malheureusement très épaisse à peine cuite donc écoeurante. Dommage! Et en débarrassant, la serveuse a fait tomber une cuiller avec un peu de chocolat sur mon épaule sans trop s'excuser... Encore un bémol. Donc bien mangé dans l'ensemble mais des choses à améliorer. Bon rapport qualité-prix."
