"If I could give this place a -0 I would. What a click bait. We went to meet Miss Rachel party, etc.. Thank God it was free because I would’ve been demanding my money back every single cent. It was so disorganized. There was nothing for the kids to do. My kid got his face painted that’s it. There were no balloons there was nothing. There was no one in charge telling us anything.. Everyone was shoved in a tight space with no idea what was going on with kids screaming everywhere. And when the character finally came out, it was the dollar store version and they had attitude. There were so many parents complaining and upset..Rightfully so. It’s a scam for you to buy their expensive overly priced food with nothing in return"

"We went out to celebrate my birthday. The food was wonderful, but we had the worst waiter and a terrible seat. We were placed back in the corner of a virtually empty restaurant. I felt forgotten. It took over 10 minutes after being seated to even get our waters. That may not seem bad, but with the free super hot salsa and chips it was painful and disappointing. Not a good way to start a celebration either. We ordered a variety of dishes. The chile relleno was the star of the afternoon. The Mexican chopped salad was pretty tasty, though I wasn't impressed with the dressing. Unfortunately, the refried beans tasted like they came straight from a can and the rice was barely room temperature. The guacamole tostada was impressive and the chicken taco was good. The enchilada we were served was super small. Our server was barely around and I had to flag him down several times just to get water refilled. This would have been understandable if there had been more than 6 tables in the entire restaurant and he were the only one working. One family spilled a drink and no one rushed to help them clean up. The staff actually waited until the family was gone before making any effort...Ridiculous. It would have been simple to leave without paying. No one thanked us for dining or asked about our experience. I was quite surprised."

"We were in the DC area for a wedding and staying at the Ritz-Carlton at Tysons Corner that is located next door to the Palm. Our reservation was immediately honored, although I would have preferred a booth, which was not offered (and as my cousin was our guest, I didn’t want to make a stink). The waiter was a bit curt, but adequate. He advised us of the specials, but didn’t cite the prices. We ordered appetizers, main courses, and desserts. My husband liked the half-dozen oysters; the calamari could have been crisper and the marinara was small. My cousin liked his chicken parm. My husband and I split a twelve-ounce filet mignon, which I thought was tough and overcooked. The side of au gratin potatoes was so-so — certainly not as good as Capital Grille’s version. The grilled asparagus was fine. The waiter checked in after we had started to dig into our main courses and said: “Everything delicious!” We didn’t agree but kept quiet. We had the doughnuts and crème brûlée for dessert: the doughnuts were good; the crème brûlée was mediocre. Rare for us: we didn’t eat all the desserts. Net-net: I wouldn’t go back to this location. Morton’s. Capital Grille. Ruth Chris. All worth a visit. The Palm: not so much."
