"After my winter hike around the region, I stopped at this charming chalet hoping to have a nice warm drink and go the map for something. My husband wanted to accompany me from the slopes. Entered the place, quite many people inside, but at least 5 tables for 5 to 6 people do not empty reservation cards. I asked a young service type if I could take place at a table: First question Are you eating??? I said we were two people to drink something and small to eat safe. Then he said he had to ask the manager. So I waited from the 'cashier'... two service ladies that they really sweet with the chief of the service he once talked to me about appearance twice up, believe me, I had no fur on, but rather expensive outwear equipment! asked me: Vous all boire un verre?!? Manger?? means that you consume alcohol and food? . Answers the same as before, in perfect French. Overall, I waited for about 15 minutes... No one came in, people just left, the maids were embarrassing. So I decided to go. Outside my husband was just there and when he left the way to join me there, we went in. I didn't tell him what happened. He just walked in as there were tons of tables empty, he only took one, no question. Order in German. The food looks and smells amazing, prices on the high category, but all that happened our way looked amazing and was appreciated. I had the “art of the day” Mirtilles to die for!!!! So if respect and kindness are not important to you if you want to pay much for good food served by an arrogant chief of the service, that is the place to go! Oh, and do not forget to say, hey to “big belly Nico” The launderette. from my part!"
