"Highly recommended by friends on their value for money sashimi and sushi. Alas, we did not go for the over the counter standing style higher end dinning option. Instead, we opted for pre packed sashimi, sushi, smoked duck, and other items... And opted for outdoor alfresco seated option. Food wise, nothing to shout for... But we were impressed by the sheer helpfulness of the security personnel guarding the main entrance. He was really helpful in helping everyone finding what they need seats, water, glasses, paper bag... etc. Will try the more premium over the counter food next visit"

"It's been a good numbers of years since I've been to this place, but unfortunately I'm still not a fan. Really wanted to love this place because it brings back a lot of childhood memories. Don't get me wrong, the grilled eel is still one of the better ones I've had. Even though it has lots of small bones (yeah, I don't like fish with bones) the eel meat is soft and well flavored. The biggest letdown would be the freshness (the food made us sick afterwards) Most of the side dishes we had seemed undercooked, both fried oysters and shrimp tasted slimy. Taiwan is an island, which is well-known for its fresh seafood, and this place is well below the standard. The unagi don was also decent, but I probably wouldn't recommend this place."

"An alley coffee spot/bar where the owner isn’t catering to the mainstream. Limited hours, seating, and menu. When I came there were only pour-over coffee options — your choice of beans. The owner’s friends stopped by to chat, all sitting at the bar talking candidly."

"If you're vegetarian and always wanted to try sushi, this is a great place to experiment. They have vegetarian and vegan options. Each plate is 32 ntd so very affordable. They even have an English menu but the order sheet isn't in English so you need to match up the symbols. The staff is friendly and kind."
