"Nice cafe in Bamberg city centre. Fitness salad is recommended! The only thing that bothers me personally is the outdoor area. You could make more of it. The tables are totally folding and you could really get some more out there over the summer. Parasols and a new furnishing would do all very well. Otherwise everything is great!"

"The caffe offers a full brunch every Sunday for 14,5 per person. it was a great choice. various hot and cold plates, great variety, brot, müsli and cheese and meat. bacon, sausage and so on. at 11:00 o'clock there are also lunch options Pommes,...schnitzel among others. they can get as much coffee and juice as they want. we were lucky to find a table, but he was packed."

"I'm a native bamberger and my whole life I'm going to the schlenkerla. as a small child, I put my finger in the beer of my parents when a student with my Italian exchange friends "birra affumicata" drank and even today a Bamberg stay is complete only when I was at least once in the schlenkerla. for me, the Schlenkerla beer is one of the best (and most idiosyncratic) beer that exists (in many countries one tries to imitate the smoked beer) and that eating is one of the most tasty and qualitatiw high-quality, what one can get in bamberg. the bamberger wobble and the crispy beerhaxe. and - you must have said it really once - also the services are the absolute top class. I have often witnessed that mass flows from tourist to schlenkerla (without a table reservation) and the patient services tried to accommodate them somewhere. Moreover, it requires the utmost sensitivity to explain to our Japanese visitors what is the difference between sushi and bauchspeck. And only yesterday I was really happy that at 25 degrees outside temperature the cool, freshly tapped beer stood on the table within two minutes. So, from the whole heart a thick compliment to the Schlenkerla controls and I'm glad that the schlenkerla has been like that for 50 years now."

"Have visited the valiant on an evening under the week. we had previously reserved a table, which we had not needed, because it was not full locally. because we couldn't decide what we had to eat the service more often to receive our orders. the tapas came quickly, but then nothing was to be seen from the service. no one comes to the table to ask if we still want to have something to drink or something lacking.The portions of the tapas were neat, i.e. not too small and tastefully in order. salt and pepper is on the table so that you can still season a little. Generally, this is local in order. I lacked the warm and hospitable, which I expected in one of the spades locally."
