"Just home from another excellent meal at the Boardwalk. Unfortunately there was an error today: my husband's breakfast was served but they forgot about mine! It was resolved very, very quickly along with sincere apologies from both the manager and the waitress who was looking...after us. They also took my hot chocolate off the bill, which was appreciated. For quality of food, professional and friendly service, and a stunning location, The Boardwalk is definitely my favourite place to eat in Bendigo. A hat stand and reinstating the Biggie would be nice, though..."

"Been to Golden Flavours a few times now. Every time the service has been excellent, the new owner goes above and beyond to insure we are having an enjoyable experience. The food has been brilliant. We tried some of the Indian curries and they are the best we have ever had. Highly recommend. Do you self a favour and give it a try. Definitely will be back again."

"Apart from the lack of interaction when we order from Menulog, we only had thumbs up until 15 mins after it was delivered. The food is usually acceptable but I was looking forward to the prawn crackers and they arrived stale. Not what we asked for."

"Due to restrictions it had to be delivery. we used menulog who were very efficient. the food was very tasty and hot. It made for a very enjoyable evening in. We will definatly order again."

"Have visited heaps of times for refreshments in the past but this was the first time in a very long time I've sat down for a meal in the bistro. This pub does not pretend to be anything flash or fancy, so I wasn't expecting...a meal experience rivalling a top restaurant. But what a fantastic meal it was, and the four people I was with were all of the same opinion. Don't be fooled by the down-to-earth menu, you don't need pretentious dish names to be able to serve great food. Includes seafood (grilled or fried), a variety of parma's, and even the almost-extinct mixed grill. All generous sizes, reasonably priced and genuinely tasty. Service, as always was friendly and warm. Well done Annie Gary."

"We ate here with a large group of adults and kids. All the meals came out together which was great. The kids meals were a very generous size. I had the wagyu beef burger and it was underwhelming. The patty its self was...dry and lacked flavour, not a great dish overall. Certainly not a terrible place to eat, plenty of room for a large group and the service was good but the food on a whole was average."

"Came here last night for the $15 burger and pot night. What great value. Double wagu cheese burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had. It also came with some chips and a free pot of furphy to wash it down. If you are looking for a great value meal I would highly recommend it."

"Have been here several times over a few years and it never disappoints, despite apparent changes of management (and name along the way. The menu is extensive and the food is truly delicious. Plenty of it too, and not overpriced. A main dish, naan bread...and a shared rice is normally more than enough. The staff are attentive and meals are served promptly, although it's never been too busy the times I've dined here. It's a rather large floor space so it would take a bit to fill. That means there's usually plenty of room and a relaxed atmosphere. If it's a nice day or night, the balcony overlooking Pall Mall is a great way to check out Bendigo from the middle."
