"If you 're looking for a culinary experience that will leave you wondering if your taste buds have gone on strike, then this is the place for you! Our family visited the Star buffet restaurant with high hopes, but were sorely disappointed!! The entire experience went downhill from the minute we joined the line up to this dump. It took one hour just to get to the entrance. Organised chaos ensued from this point on……….. After paying nearly $40pp…….we were hearded in like cattle, to what I can only describe at best as being your local disaster recovery community hall centre vibe. I kid you not, it was like a military mess hall. The selection of food was lackluster, to say the least. I don 't know about you, but I don 't consider a few Chinese dishes and empty seafood trays to be a buffet. And the salad selection? Let 's just say they looked like they had been sitting there since the days of the dinosaurs. And if you 're thinking of going for the dessert, don 't bother. There was hardly any of it left!! In fact……The food was so bad that my soul descended to hell and the devil high fived me!! Overall, I 'd give this buffet restaurant a one-star rating – and that 's being generous. Save your money and go somewhere else – anywhere else! Feel very ripped off!!!! Pics for proof!!!"
