"We had 3 dishes, a beef in the pot, a rice pasta in acid and hot sauce and a fried corn. The average price of soup is 12, for supplement 20 and main 30-35, but it can vary a lot for fish. The food came in large portions and was absolutely fantastic, perhaps the best we had in Romania. We were impressed that the food was not so oily and the taste was well balanced. The service was very nice, food came fast. Location is surrounded by blocks, but clean, natural light and no food smell."

"This is a smallish neighborhood restaurant. The food was delightful and the service kind and patient and no one spoke English and we spoke no Turkish nor Romanian. We enjoyed every bite and sip at this restaurant and while not in mid-Bucharest, I would take the metro and time to return again!"

"Dies ist unserer Meinung nach ein sehr tolles Restaurant und dieses Restaurant hatte uns ein Busfahrer empfohlen. also waren wir dann auch zweimal dort gewesen und fanden es super dort. Besonders die sehr gemütlich getaltete Inneneinrichtung hatte uns beiden sehr gefallen und es war eine gute stimmung dort. Es hatte eine sehr tolle und vielseitige speisekarte gegeben und die jeweils von uns bestellten Speisen waren sehr fein und schmeckten uns sehr."

"We were staying in the nearby K+K hotel, and as this place was listed as the spot for breakfast in Bucharest we decided to check it out. After a short walk and a little searching we found Simbio on a side street in a residential area. At first we were a bit put off by the attitude of the staff, and almost walked out again... Upon entering we were brusquely told there was no room and we could "try" downstairs. Downstairs (i.e. the basement, no windows) the staff was just as cheerful, but we got a table anyway after promising we'd be out by 11:30 to make room for the reservations. Sunday is peak brunch time for the Bucharesti hipster crowd it seems... So we quickly chose something of the menu (it took them a while to come and take our order considering they wanted us out of the way fast) that neither of us had tried before: poached eggs benedict and florentine. I had some home-made lemonade drink on the side as well. Our orders did come out fast, and our waiter gradually became less grumpy with each interaction. The food was REALLY good. We both loved the poached eggs and the veggies. We even considered going back there the next day, but the thought of having to go through that unwelcoming staff again held us back. Too bad, now that I've "discovered" eggs florentine I want them again, I hope they'll be as good as they were in Simbio."

"If you care about how much food you eat (grams and everything) please do not go there. They brought us very few vegetables (totally not even close to grams). But that is not the biggest issue. The waitress' attitude was very aggresive and she...was telling us that it looked very ok totally dismissing the argument. After that she went to the kitchen, came back and brought us a plate full of vegetables a lot more than the WHOLE table had and said hey there are more here than grams The food taste is ok, but if you are in a situation where you weigh your food, avoid this place."
