"Travelled with a large group who were let down regarding evening meal. They were able to accommodate us at short notice. Service a bit slow, but there were a lot of us. Good meals, price a bit steep but plenty of options."

"During the visit of the memorial, the lunch time went well, we decided to take a break. the full bread apple caf cracked with a monstrous tail, we decide to go to the restaurant the terrace. menu has 16€ dessert dish, we enter and very quickly we install. waitress and waitress, friendly and smiling, very busy because room is full. We order a cod and an apple pie each. well cooked fish, rice and ratatouille very good and good sauce (e.g., dish in vacuum but very correct for price ) apple pie with salted caramel butter, grilled almonds and vanilla ice ball very good. a san pe a beer and 2 coffees, addition to 40€. balance: very high quality price, it's a bit the factory but the memorial is crowded! it is especially the opportunity to sit on the tour"

"We visited on a Saturday night as a special treat to end a fantastic stay in Caen. After conversing with our waiter for several minutes, we ordered 12 Bordeaux snails to share as an entree. We then ordered our main meals, Beef fillet and Cod....To our surprise our mains arrived. When we asked about our snails, Staff stated we hadn’t order any! But offered to bring them after our main meal, not the desert we were looking forward to! The meal was very disappointing considering the price we paid and not very filling. Both meals came with spoonful of mash, two bits of turnip and carrot. We also noticed other customers receiving their mains before the arrival of their entrees . The French couple sat next us also made comment how disorganised staff were after they forgot his champagne after his family had already received their drinks several minutes before, shorty followed by him receiving the wrong entree. I could understand it if this was later on in the evening but at the time of us ordering there were minimal customers in the Restaurant. On the bright side the wine and beer were very good. 2 mains and 2 drinks was 71 Euros. Left feeling very disappointed and still hungry. Would not visit again and would not recommend."
