"Beautiful restaurant with good food. her wobbly soup is one of the best I ever had. I had thunfish, but it was pretty thin so it was not as rare as I like it. my wife had a stuffed bun they enjoyed. we were. here several times and it is never busy. the people complement the ambiente. at one point we were the only people in the restaurant. they really don't know how to make a martini. there is the greatest crocodile I have ever seen in the water under the restaurant. that was interesting. this restaurant is hard to find so that they really want to eat there."

"I have been twice to James Pub and both times I have had an amazing time! First, the staff is excellent and very attentive- we even got free drinks. The food is also great with a lot of variation for everyone; from chicken wings to tacos to sushi. If you don't know what to get, ask the waiters and they will gladly help you. The drinks are also very well made. I recommend the margarita on the rocks and the Tropical Dream Mist. The atmosphere is incredible with good views of the clubs and with excellent music that puts you in a good mood. If you are in the club zone and want something tasty for dinner with a relaxing ambiance go to James Pub."

"One of the first restaurants I tried in the city. Steak tacos was good with the fresh toppings. The shrimp was also fresh for the tacos too. Also had free chips and salsa. Had a coupon for a free drink so I had a pina colda and it was loaded with flavor and of course I took a few shots of tequila. Service is among amazing and their just wanting you to enjoy your time. Had a nice view over looking the beach. Clean restaurant and it wasn’t too busy for lunch. Good place to try if your tired of eating the resort food 3 times a day and prices wasn’t too bad."

"I was on vacation in Cozumel and was surprised to hear about an Indonesian restaurant not too far from the center of town. This place is located along Avenido Rafael E. Melgar, about 300 meters south of the international cruise ship terminals on the opposite side of the street. Being a long time fan of Indonesian food I had to check it out. The restaurant is definitely for the adventurous eater; it's located in an orange building right by the road and is surrounded by scrub brush in a totally undeveloped area of town. The run-down, third world look of this place reminds me of small roadside eateries in Nigeria. Their neighbor next door is a bar named "Men's Club" to give you an idea of the neighborhood.I think the owner, who is Indonesian, tries to recreate Indonesian flavors but it's not quite the real deal. Certain spices and flavors are missing, but the food here is delicious nonetheless. Indonesian food is very spicy and this place did not fail on that. Your mouth should be burning by the end of the meal--unless you're a big fan of el picante.Because this place caters to the Indonesian crew on cruise ships, the hours are variable. If a cruise ship arrives at 7 am they'll be open by that time and close when the ship leaves (usually 4 - 6 pm). This place is very casual and the meals are buffet style. When you go inside let someone know you want lunch, head to the kitchen to your right, grab a plate and utensils, scoop yourself some rice from the rice cooker, get some sambal sauce from the smaller pot, and choose from assorted meats and veggies from the buffet. Be aware the food may be a little cold, but if you get there exactly at noon I imagine they'll have everything piping hot.I picked the chicken, stir-fried anchovies (trust me, it's delicious if you can get past the heads still attached), and vegetables. All were tasty with rich flavors (umami). The highlight of the meal is the sambal sauce. They use habanero or scotch bonnet peppers to flavor the sauce so it doesn't taste Indonesian but it is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I'd come back to Cozumel for this sauce alone! If you like Bahamian hot sauce you'll be over the moon with their sambal sauce. All in all this place really is a gem if you don't care too much about decor, have a sense of adventure, and like Southeast Asian food."

"We stumbled upon Luna Rossa whilst looking for somewhere to eat near Las Americas. We had the Serrano ham crostini and goats cheese bruschetta to start - the crostini was so good we ordered another portion with our mains. For the mains we had the penne arrabbiata and the rigatoni amatriciana. They were both lovely and the pasta was cooked just right. The main bonus of this place is the staff - our water was really attentive and ensured we had enjoyed our food after both courses. If you're looking for a tasty and simple meal then I would recommend Luna Rossa."

"El Muellesito means little dock in spanish. I am a big fan of this establishment that is out of the Hotel Zone and on the very edge of downtown Cancun. I have been here many times and have never had a bad meal. I am fond of the appetizers, guacamole (the best anywhere), perfectly prepared seafood and inexpensive drinks. However, on my last visit, I ordered my very favorite grilled jumbo shrimp (in the shell) and could not believe that they had lathered it in processed garlic with oil. It completely ruined the entree '. I am very open minded about food and can easily swing from the lower end restaurants to the higher end without a problem. I am fond of most everything but when a restaurant cuts corners and uses inexpensive processed garlic with oil, I am baffled. It is surely a lazy way to cook and the chef in this great place needs to pay attention. There is nothing like fresh garlic and when it is used, it can enhance the entree '. In this case, it appeared that they used the cheap stuff you buy in a large jar from Costco. Yes...they have Costco in Cancun. I am not a complainer nor do I ever send the food back. Instead, I scraped every bit of the foul garlic/oil coating off of the shrimp and enjoyed the sweet, succulent meat from these four giant prawns. They were split like lobster tails and were mucho grande. More like langostino. I thoroughly enjoyed the made from scratch guacamole. The service was attentive, fast and friendly. No problems at all. You can sit on the veranda or inside where there 's a sports bar area. A little dark for my taste but still enjoyable. It 's not on the water but on a busy city street. There is valet parking but you can find a safe, secure parking spot a block or two away. I would absolutely go back because of their great menu but PLEASE; get rid of that artificial garlic. Mexico has superb, fresh garlic and it is soooo cheap in the markets. Please take the time to chop it or slice it paper thin for a great enhancement to your fabulous menu. Oh, by the way....the prices are very reasonable by US standards. You can eat, drink and really enjoy a super meal for less than $15.00 US. I hope the managers/owners read my review and get some fresh garlic for the next visit."

"Beware of this restaurant's billing practice .... we thought something was strange & then read the 'terrible' reviews. We got duped too! He told us the additional charge was mostly a government tax but it was probably entirely their tip. We then tipped again, twice. He says there charge card wasn't working probably because the charge card companies got frustrated with clients disputing this restaurants charges. Again, read the other billing reviews."

The Restaurante La Isla originating from Cancún provides various fine seafood meals, look forward to the typical fine French cuisine. If you'd like something after-dinner treat to finish off, Restaurante La Isla does not disappoint with its good selection of desserts, One can also find some international dishes to choose from in the menu.
