"Ordered 3 coffees and charged $22.90 and waited 20 minutes, when the coffees arrived it was the wrong order. When I went to tell the barista she abused me and told me to sit down and drink them. How could you possibly return to Shingle Inn."

"We went to Thai Mali again after a long absence at the suggestion of a friend celebrating his 72nd. Its a bit out of our way, like about 20 klm, and it was the favourite restaurant of other friends, who moved out of the area, and with the plethora of good eating places in Brisbane, we lost contact.We were welcomed by Tukta, the proprietor who opened it 19 years ago, and being a Monday when its a wonder any restaurants are open at all in Brissy, she had a bit of time to talk to us. I think she misses her long standing customers who have moved out of the area, but having raised her family she is carrying on with enthusiasm and bubbly good humour, and great food.Tricia loves Thai fish cakes, and these together with steamed dim sims provided the entre, which we followed with 2 curries and a stir fry and fried and steamed rices.As we were finishing, we were talking to Tutka about rice in general, and in her enthusiasm she produced a dessert she identified as "sticky black rice and coconut milk". As a rice lover, I can vouch for this , it was "close your eyes speechlessly beautiful". No charge!And all this for just over $25 per head. Gee, I'm glad our friend suggested it.And al thkis"

"My son was very keen to go to a food throwing show at a Teppanyaki restaurant for his birthday. This restaurant was handy being at Garden City Town Square. The staff were so polite and attentive and the show was great. The kids, and adults loved it! Food was delicious abs big portions too. We'll be back! Thanks for a great experience."

"This place was my first experience with guzman y gomez in 2012 when I saw a massive line for free burritos. Since then, I have strapped and guzman y gomez in general is my way to the Mexican restaurant. this was also my local gyg since the quality, consistency and service has never fallen and I was never disappointed."
