"I would not normally review a fish and chip shop but even allowing for natural born whinging people, what a different experience we had to so many. I will call it as the best battered fish I have eaten and the chips were very good...too. The wait time when it was quiet was what it takes to cook fish and chips. Duh, you wait longer when it is busy. The service was fine and it was lovely to sit in the almost winter sun at the outside tables. I highly recommend fish and chips from JP McCaffreys's"

"We were in the Oporto Coogee at lunchtime last week and the place was packed! I know it’s good food so I can see why it’s a busy spot. Even being busy during the lunch rush our order was taken quickly and our food came out fast and hot. Branching out from my usual Oporto burger I tried the Aioli burger and it was good! The fries were extra crispy and I was full at the end which is always good. Restaurant was clean, service friendly and clean too which is always nice for people handling food"

"Ho ordinato spaghetti alla bolognese lunedì a pranzo , la carne era acida , faccio il cuoco italiano da 10 anni e so quando una salsa È acida , ho buttato via i soldi e mangiato molto male , servizio veloce e buono ,ma non mi vedranno mai più e spero che altri facciano tesoro del mio commento , prendete qualcos'altro , no la pasta , il cuoco non assaggia le salse per vedere se sono ancora buone e con il caldo la durata diminuisce ."

"The Mediterranean fish stew was tasty with a fairly bland tomato sauce. The children were well looked after with spaghetti bolognese and chicken nuggets. Steamed vegetables were also bland. Fish burger looked the best."
