"John's Lunch came highly recommended and definitely lived up to expectations. The location is great with ferry and bus access at Woodside and easily accessible regardless of where you're coming from. The service was prompt and really friendly. They know they're good but they are humble about it, and this is probably what makes them the best. The haddock was probably the best I've ever had and the rice pudding was great, too. I will definitely return in the future and I think you should too."

"This lovely cafe was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. My son loved his "crobster" sandwich anfpnd my jerk chicken and mango slaw was great. My daughter had the fish sand. It was grilled and tasted good but was difficult for her to manage and kept falling apart. Good service and just a few doors down from the Dartmouth Ferry terminal!"

"This down home restaurant located in eastern passage right on the water, beautifully located along side the summer tourist shops and the fishing village. great haddock and chips (home cut) very generoua portion of haddock."

"Dropped by The Downeast Beer Factory to look into some planned entertainment and had lunch. Wow, Great food and service. The wings were tasty and their dipping sauce was great as well.The place looks great inside. Beautiful lighting and lots of atmosphere. I cant wait for the entertainment to start on the stage in the pub. The only reason I didnt give a five star rating was that I only had a snack and not a full meal. Im sure next time they'll get the other star! I'm sure they will do a fabulous buisness as the word gets out.M.A. Fall River, NS."
