"I ate this noon in this restaurant, close to the hospital (done at the bottom of the outdoor parking, 80 boulevard joffre) I chose the buffet fomule at will for 12,80 euros. "Just passing through la Pallice one lunchtime and needed to eat Trip Advisor brought us here which is just as well as we'd never have found it on our own. It's opposite the concert hall La Sirene, but really just blends in with the...row of houses. Got the last unreserved table for two on a Thursday lunchtime which is already a good sign. The place filled up rapidly with what were obviously regular customers and locals. A two course meal for including a bottle of mineral water: typical hearty French food I had pork and lentils and the Eton Mess was divine. Shabby chic deco none of the chairs match, but that's not a problem. There is a second room at the back and a little courtyard for overflow."

"We booked online. We arrived early but that was not a problem. We were seated and offered a drink. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. (Our French is not very good) The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend."
